  1. Thanks for the help. I'll give it a try.
  2. It's always on when plugged in. It's a Tron type joystick and LED rollerball. So basically, I'd have to map out General and Game specific controls, then set the cfg file to read only? It's my understanding that there will be many different cfg files if you've mapped out different controls for different games. Is that right? Do you know if I'd have to do the same for Retroarch emulated games? Set it to read only I mean. thanks for the feedback btw
  3. Do I need to leave my controllers plugged in all the time? Will Mame reset to default and forget what I had mapped out for the games if I unplug? The reason I ask, is that I have 2 arcade type joystick controllers connected and one has LED lights that I don't want on 24/7. I just don't want to keep having to remap my controllers all the time.
  4. Thanks. Can't believe I missed that!
  5. Any idea on how to hide the mouse cursor? I'm running Triforce 4.0 315 and there's no option to hide the cursor when playing.
  6. it was the driver. Windows was using the wrong driver for the board. I changed it and it started working. No issue now! I appreciate all the help! Finally seems to be all working!
  7. It could be the driver. I'm running a windows update now. When I found the device, it had an event log saying further installation required. I'll let you know.
  8. So I tried it on my other PC and it said "setting up Linkfly mouse" and it works! My issue now is, why isn't my other PC detecting it?
  9. I don't think Windows tried to configure it. I didn't notice it at least. I did try just connecting the usb directly without the hub and that didn't work. I'll try again tomorrow and see. If I recall, I was just in Launchbox when I tried. I'll see if it works in Windows this time around. Heading to be soon so I'll post tomorrow. thx
  10. sorry. I wasn't paying attention to the command window. I thought you meant it would show in Mame.
  11. Hi, It's the adapter I was told to purchase from a couple different sources. Yes the trackball is lit up. The red light on the adapter is on as well. On a side note, the usb cable from the adapter goes into a usb hub because the Tron joystick is also plugged in.
  12. I don't. I have a mini usb keyboard with a touchpad. I'm not sure if the 12 in 1 is in there. What would it show up as?
  13. Ok. I'm in Mame now. I didn't see it add any input device like you typed.
  14. sorry, how do I launch that in Command prompt? What do I type?
  15. Hi, Yes, I went in and they were both "keyboard". I changed them both to "mouse"
  16. Hi, I built an arcade stick with a Tron joystick, spinner and trackball. The Tron joystick works. The LED trackball lights up. However, the trackball and spinner do not work. I've tried configuring in Mame, and neither is even detected. From my understanding, the trackball should at least work in Windows, but it doesn't. I have both trackball and spinner connected to a 12-1 interface board. please help. I'm so close!
  17. Thank you so much! I find it scrolls and refreshes better now too. I suspect that is also why I've been experiencing the odd crash when scrolling too quickly.
  18. Hi, After update 8 I believe, every time I go through my games list in Launchbox and delete games that I don't want displayed, when it refreshes it jumps all the way back to the top. So if I delete an "S" game, it jumps all the way back to "#" at the top. Then I have to scroll all the way back to where I was to continue. Launchbox never used to do this until maybe 2 updates ago. Is there any way to correct this? It's time consuming. thx
  19. Thanks for the advice
  20. I just tried the BAD Old Monkey theme with 10.9. Same results. I'm going to try to go back to 10.7. I've never had issues before.
  21. I'm crashing too since the update. If I delete a game from LB, it now scrolls all the way back to the top. So if I delete a "T" game, it now scrolls all the way back to the top. Also, I notice that the game boxes in the list change resolution for a second, then LB crashes (I just get the spinning mouse wheel). I've exited, rebooted the PC and tried again. No luck.
  22. OMG. I'm so stupid. I didn't realize the Rom folder already had the damn bios files! I checked it more thoroughly and I see that the bios files are already in there. That's why it's asking to overwrite. I'm so sorry to waste your time. Thanks for trying to help though. You guys are awesome and I love Launchbox!
