Thanks! I'm always checking for stuff like that and it's another I completely remade after doing it so I must have forgotten the 2nd time but I'm glad you like 'em. As always, I can't be sure of colours, especially for things I don't have

There was a lack of quality PAL Sega Saturn fronts and no one ever seemed to get the side logo right (not even Sega because it always seems to be printed poorly) so I made a new version from scratch. Guardian Heroes seemed to be printed poorly as well so I remade it from individual elements. I'll probably go back and clean up the logo a little more later. I completely remade Super Mario Bros 2 from the previous version.

Cheers! I hadn't looked around the forum too much but that's a nice resource. You've collected a lot of good work there. I moved on to a couple of NES games that I wanted to do for now and if something takes my fancy I might do it

Quick note: I'll fix the thumbnail issue later. I'm currently linking the direct images and I know that's not the best way to do things but it's difficult for me. I made these for myself because there's 10,000 versions of each on google and often not a single good one. PAL scans are hard to come by. And if you have scans you can only clean them up so much before you may as well use original elements. I wanted clean, high quality with consistent logos and other small details. I don't own the majority of these games any more or even care about the games themselves, I only have some of these Dreamcast games at hand to compare with. I used the Maddog 300dpi scans as a base for those restorations with Topaz Photo doing a lot of the upscaling (using the Wonder 1 mode because it's very smooth). Later on I used either grok or chatgpt for other elements or small text if needed and then Topaz again. And lots of Photoshop. If I make any more, I'll edit them into the first thread but there probably won't be loads more, I only did the ones I like the look of, or had as a kid, or have nostalgia for, basically. Thanks to EASTWOOD2002 for their Jet Set Radio scan.

Things I've been restoring for myself because I couldn't find good versions out there. Some have taken many hours or days. Most are PAL/UK because I'm from England. Many parts are done with the help of AI to make them look clean but it's not a 1-click process. I've stayed away from using vectored logos and images as much as possible and often break down the art into individual parts to work on them. I've tried to get pleasing colours and quality and may have standardised a few minor things here and there to keep positioning consistent but they should still have a good likeness if so. I'm mostly happy with them but can come back to edit them a lot after uploading because I rush to get things finished after a while and forget to do something the 5th time around. And because of the constant editing after uploading and not wanting to make an announcement every time I post, I'm going to quietly add new images to this first post only. I know that makes it harder to find what's new but that's the way I wanna do it, sorry. I don't take requests but let me know if anything is wrong. Hey, thanks very much. I haven't tested this yet (I barely fire this up any more) but appreciate it and will use it if I play again.

Nah, just what you've done in the first post is great, thanks!

I just wanted to say great work on these cassette game covers. Do you host them anywhere in ZX Spectrum, C64 etc. folders (otherwise I'm not always sure which is for which format) ? -
Awesome, I'm glad you haven't given up on it. I spend a lot of time looking for resources and never really find what I'm looking for. google is full of rubbish and many sites have very low quality and outdated images. Even though I think emulation is in a great state, the preservation of original art is somewhat disorganized and behind. For me, as you might agree, the box art is just as much part of the game and it's still something we haven't quite nailed in some areas. It's surely a difficult job. To be done right, any format would have to all be done by the same person with the same settings to give consistent quality. I wish there was a master, grand repository somewhere to link to or host both scans and remakes. Speaking of something like this, I read about Near's lossless SNES scans, which I haven't downloaded yet. Hopefully there's PAL scans in the 70GB DL like it says https://www.patreon.com/posts/nears-original-57250631 and I found another for PAL SNES at snesboxes.com/snes-box-art (all remakes, you be the judge of quality).

No worries but cheers.
