  1. Love this theme! Could we add Amiga (A500 Mini), Commodore 64 (The C64 Mini) and MS-DOS (Exodos)?
Good thing I stumbled upon this. It's the best theme available now and needs to be added to the app downloader. Great work!
  2. You're 100% right, but unfortunately there's no point discussing any of the positive sides of the community here. "This is a commercial product" is all that gets parroted around these forums, shutting down any discussion about exciting possibilities. To these guys, it's 350,000 people enjoying a "novelty", even though it's dollar for dollar the best value emulation hardware on the market, and has been for 3 years now, haha.
  3. It's taking over 8 hours so far to import 9000 SNES games. I have to do this for every platform. Can they work on massively speeding up the import process? It's taking so long as has been like this for ages I'm now looking at alternatives.
  4. It should be more likely that we get behind the emulation community when it gets access to hardware that can improve performance. It's sad to read that it's more about monetisation than preservation around here. Thanks for attempting to kill the discussion multiple times though. Truth is if the community moves over to using xbox for emulation, those who make front ends will do the same. If not you because there's no money in it, then someone else.
  5. He knows there is no UWP app, it's obvious. What he's saying is it'd be great if someone would get behind the emulator scene on XBOX and create a UWP app for those using it for emulators. It is probably the best hardware to run something like Launchbox on right now.
  6. Uh huh, which is dependencies that I didn't pay for. I paid for software that didn't require anything else to be installed (otherwise known as bloat) to keep my lower spec machines running with decent frames. How is this going to work for example, on WinXP machines that can't even install these dependencies? All this so called "progress" comes at a cost to older hardware. When we're dealing with aged software preservation, it's quite relevant. I'm surprised I'm the only one mentioning this now. How many other dependencies on modern hardware and OS will this software have to rely on to function? As it's not so much the standalone, can run on an external drive installation on a lot of hardware now as it used to be. Also: I don't need a moderator jumping in here for giving me attitude without thinking it through first. Not a good look for your community, quite immature honestly.
  7. What? I'm surprised that suddenly an update includes dependencies and requires installations that it didn't require previously?
  8. Confronted with this as I open launchbox update. What's it going to do for me? Do you understand that even though yes, you are continuing to develop the app, that a lot of people have this set up in almost standalone like situation in a cab or bespoke setup. Is this just where I turn my updates off and wondered why I paid for a forever license?
  9. @BMovieBen Any of those look great. Generic 1 and 2 fit the time period nicely.
  10. Any chance we can get this added to the BigBox in-app theme chooser?
  11. Awesome, thanks man. Hard to find good MS-DOS content!
  12. This is really neat. Is there a way to have it apply for only one Platform e.g. MS-DOS, instead of applying it to everything? Also you should get this added to BigBox in-app theme chooser.
  13. Just the classics yknow Doom, Duke3D, Wolf3D, Quake, Commander Keen, Jazz Jackrabbit, Lemmings. It's actually hard to find like a good photo of an old Pentium style or 486 DOS PC
