  2. Hi all! Long time contributor to the database here. Just wondering what's up with the troll who votes to reject EVERY single submission I make? (btw I have 10,657 approved submissions, so it's not like I'm doing something wrong here) My guess is it's someone who's a competitor to launchbox, in here trying to screw with y'alls database... At any rate, I'm sure this is confusing to people who are submitting to the database for the first time. I hope that the admin team can look into this, and either straighten the troll out, or get rid of him.
  3. Still having trouble adding new (Nintendo Switch) games to the database. When I hit submit, it loads forever. This seems to happen about 75% of the time. Happening on both Opera and Chrome (Windows).
  4. Hi all, So I'm writing because the database is causing me grief. Often, when I attempt to upload a new game, punch in all the info, and upload the images, then hit submit, it will just load forever, and never finalize my submission. I just made 3 attempts to upload a new nintendo switch entry, and it did this all 3 times. I like helping add to the database, as it helps everybody. But this is getting really frustrating. Could this issue please be looked into?

  7. Could you please post an example? I can't get this to work. It doesn't acknowledge my entries. I must be doing it wrong.
  8. Version 1.0.0

Video Snap I made for the newly-released romhack -- Castlemania for Super Nintendo. Video footage was used from the official release video on Youtube.
  9. Thank you. What would I need to add to make it launch fullscreen?
  10. My question regarding all this is, are there any games that work on FB Neo, that do not work on MAME? If not, there is personally no need for me to bother setting up FB Neo.
  11. Set Flash Player as the emulator. Load swf files as roms. In "manage emulators" go into flash player, and paste this into "running script" Sleep, 1000 ;waits 1 seconds Send {Ctrl Down}{f}{Ctrl Up} $Esc:: { Process, Close, {{{StartupEXE}}} } That will make the games fullscreen, and allow you to exit the game with the Escape key. Hope that helps
  12. Yes. First download and install this: https://archive.org/details/flashplayer_old Then download and install this: https://web.archive.org/web/20220401020702/https://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/updaters/32/flashplayer_32_sa.exe And you're set to go. Just got it up and running on my Windows 11 setup. I wanted to add the old Flash Game Breakfast Brawl to my launchbox build. Mission accomplished!

Video snap for Detana TwinBee Yahoo! Deluxe Pack [Sony Playstation] (Japan) Couldn't find one anywhere on the web, so I had to make one for my Launchbox build. Figured maybe someone else could use it. If people like this sort of thing, I can upload more. ~Shizzy
  14. Hi all, I tried to Google this before posting with no luck. My question is, is there a way to set a running script for a game to set the volume for that specific game? Thanks in advance for any help
  15. Hi all! I have been adding some games to the Nintendo Switch database, and it's a pretty straight forward process. My question is about how we handle Multi-Game Cartridges/Discs? For instance, NINJA GAIDEN: Master Collection (Switch) comes on a single game cartridge, but when you dump it, you get 3 different game files (one for each game in the collection). It wouldn't be logical for all 3 of these game files to have the same game ID/Title in Launchbox as 1) you wouldn't be able to tell them apart in launchbox 2) launchbox would reject importing 2 of the 3 games as they would register as duplicates. For my own personal build, I just made some fan art for covers and imported separately, but how do we handle situations like this concerning indexing this game(s) in the online database?
  16. So I uploaded a marquee for a game to the database for approval. Only issue is, I accidentally uploaded the pre-edit image (I had fixed it and intended to upload the edit).. Anyway, is there a way to retract a submission to the database while its still in the approval process, or do I need to wait for it to be accepted or rejected and deal with it from there?
  17. Sharing this here, instead of uploading to the database, because this cover is not for any specific game, rather a one size-fits-all generic cover for any of the countless Marvel vs Capcom compilations for MUGEN. I used a Marvel vs Capcom Vita poster and photoshopped it up to make it look nice. Thought it looked sharp 😎
  18. Hi all! I've been working at adding games to the switch section of the database. I have photoshop and decent image editing skills. I'm a very meticulous individual and add every possible bit of metadata. I source the info straight from nintendo's website. The images I upload are always of the highest quality (ie high res, no 3rd party watermarks, transparent corners on the .png files, optimize images for smallest size and fastest loading time, ect) Anyway, I see the acceptance process seems partly driven by the launchbox community. Everything I submit has been accepted. My question is, there is always (seemingly) one user who is hitting decline on EVERYTHING I submit. So am I doing something wrong, or is this person just a troll? Thanks in advance for any replies - game on!!!
  19. OK, see understand about the videos, I prefer to do my own though. Which leads me to a feature request for your consideration: This is for launchbox, I'm talking. (I do have a updates for life subscription, and bigbox as well. But I'm still new to launchbox, so I'll get that down before I start playing with bigbox) Anyway, I see it lets me show my videos in the game info box. And even through I can add more than 1 video, launchbox only displays 1 of them in the UI game info panel. It would be really cool if it would display them all, with my custom labels. For instance, for Zelda Link's Awakening (Switch), I have 2 videos I would like to display. The first, is the game overview trailer, the second is a then and now comparison video. I apologize for any typos, and thank you for such a beautiful front end!!
  20. opps, I didnt even see that. Thanks for the quick reply!
  21. Hi all! I'm wanting to help contribute to the database. I understand how to submit requests to contribute edits to the current database. My question is how would I go about adding a new game to the database? I have a Ton of images and metadata for a lot of the new Switch games. Would love to upload it to help others. PS: Is it possible to add a video to the database? Or can we only add video url in metadata? Thanks in advance for any help. Game On!!!!!
