1. I chose "manually download/configure retroarch" when importing a game. but launchbox still downloaded retroarch... checked the emulators folder within launchbox dir and retroarch was downloaded... Why is the development team so eager to autoimport and autoconfigure everything? I mean it was quite easy to configure and install everything before all this auto-stuff
2. I bought the SF4 Madcatz Arcade stick (2008) still working no problems.... back in the days, my stomach hurt because of the price... I dont regret buying it though Looking at current Controller Prices today....😞
3. I have basically 4 controllers in rotation... xbox controller, 8bitdo m30, nintendo switch snes controller and the nintendo switch online nes controller. The ps5 controller is nice too but the battery life is bad.... I have many more but those cover most of the 8/16/32-bit consoles... The ps5 version hori fighting commander octa I can't recommend. The buttons feel weird (clicky) and the dpad is awful... The nso switch controllers are not cheap but worth it.... no additional software needed to run them.... highly recommended!
4. Many Games with long Titles are all cut... is there a way use 2 rows for the Game Title?

6. Get Errors when browsing platforms: Dont know bigbox or theme could cause this
7. another crash: just browsing through playlists/platforms in bigbox: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. 8. Cant change Main theme in bigbox: The calling thread cannot access this object because a different thread owns it. 9. There is no visual hint when, for instance: 1943.zip 1943u.zip are stacked together. I'd like to "see" when games are stacked. Also when editing within the edit games dialog, an arrow forw. and backward would be nice, to easily edit the next game without having to close and open for next game to edit.... I hope this is understandable.. 😝
10. Seems like i have to reimport both mame and fbneo... Thanks, JoeViking245!
11. I have them both setup in Launchbox. I imported the mame romset as "arcade", using the mame binary (as told by launchbox) I imported the fbneo (arcade only) romset as "finalburnneo" scraping as arcade of course. Using the fbneo core in retroarch. now, here's the problem All the mame games show achievments ((including the achievment badge) well, all those game that support achievements). and the fbneo games don't show the badge nor the achievement tab in detail view. and it should be reversed right? the mame game should not show achievments and fbneo games should...
12. Batman '66 TV-Series Box Front for all 120 Episodes. Quick and Dirty... 2111239487_Batman(1966)(BoxFront).zip
13. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction! I'll look into this, but looks good on first glance
14. Hey Guys, I have a little Problem with launching Pinball FX3 with additional Application. I wrote 2 batch files, one for launching with the start of Pinball FX3:
@echo off cd "F:\Emulators\DirectOutput" start DOFLinx.exe start "" "F:\Programs\JoyToKey\JoyToKey.exe" cd "F:\Emulators\vPinball\VisualPinball\VPinMAME" start dmdext.exe mirror --source=pinballfx3 --no-virtual --virtual-position=7680 256 1024 512
and one to kill all the launched programs:
@echo off taskkill.exe /F /IM JoyToKey.exe" taskkill.exe /F /IM dmdext.exe" taskkill.exe /F /IM doflinx.exe"
But the Problem is, (because the emulator is set to steam.exe) launchbox thinks steam is the main application, so when steam client is not in the background and i launch directly from launchbox into a table. the one for starting the additional apps works (besides doflinx complaining not finding the ini file). But lets say i quit a table and steam is now in the background. when i launch a table again, the batch file will not run. when quitting out of steam, the batch file works. also, the batch file for killing all tasks is not loading (outside of launchbox, just double clicking on bat file works). is there a better, more elegant way to do this?
15. Hi, Is comic utility belt still working? It reads all the files but doesn't output any files... Tried it on a single file with no luck... Tried running the program as admin with no luck. Other features don't work either. Like viewing pages... Just. an empty box. Any suggestions?
16. I got it working. with "help" > "check for updates"
17. Hey Guys, I'm having trouble updating launchbox to current beta. I hit "yes" when i'm getting asked to update to new beta version. After That a Window pops up that says: "The setup files are corruped. Please obtain a new copy of the program." reinstalled stable version, but still getting the same error. Deleted temporary files as well...
18. Tried to import my epic Games Collection. Getting this error:
19. I found a way to scan just for specific plattforms.... Lets say you want to scan your Atari 2600 collection... just select the atari 2600 games (or all) you want to scan and then tools->Download Metadata and Media. It will just scan the selected files and not the hole collection.
20. Hi Guys! First of all, thank your this fine piece of software! It's Amazing. Best Frontend for sure. But i have a question: Is it possible to restrict or exclude directories you dont want to get scanned again or an option just to scan a specific Plattform? Also, when i check all the boxes in GamesDB AND emumovies for media/images how does that work? Are the files getting overwritten? or kept and renamed?
