  1. Edit: Nevermind, I just copied them over manually...there weren't that many to sort through so it didn't take long I've been going through this process with my non-merged set. I know the "export ROM files" doesn't do anything with your CHD files, so what's the best way to copy those over for the purpose of trimming down your set?
  2. I didn't use the full set importer because I'm testing a reference set with mame2003 plus on RetroArch, which I believe is 0.78. Maybe I'll try importing as a full set and point launchbox to RetroArch instead of MAME. I'm ultimately hoping to slim the set down to use 4-way joystick games with RetroArch and then the latest set and everything else with the newest mame. Hopefully that makes sense.
  3. Does it matter how my romset is packaged? I have a non-merged set, so perhaps that's causing the issue? The problem is I'm not sure what other titles are not being imported in the same fashion. I just did a quick test on Pac-Man, but I'll check other titles now also.
  4. Ahh, yeah I bet that's what it was then. So what would have been the correct way for me to get Pac-Man to display in my game collection? And what should I do now?
  5. I was really struggling to import a ROM collection for arcade where I couldn't get the original Pac-Man to import. Just about every other variant was importing other than the original. So I went back to import the collection again, but this time unchecked (probably way too many) boxes to see if it would finally work. Well, it did it import Pac-Man, but now I have a ton of duplicates of everything. I scoured the settings and only see the clean up media wizard which probably wouldn't solve this issue. It's odd to me that I couldn't get it to import the first time with the default import settings, but besides that what should I do now? Thanks.
  6. Thanks guys, I guess my other concern at this point is how difficult it would be to retrofit the servostik to replace my iL Eurostick. I highly doubt the mounting holes would align perfectly, and then there's the issue of extra space available for the servo. Glad to hear it's possible though! I'll look more closely at the existing mounts and try to come up with a solution. Maybe I'll give the mame2003plus a try too in the meantime. I suppose if that works well enough with my current sticks I could have launchbox use RetroArch for the 4-way games and the latest MAME for everything else? I know I'll need to rebuild a set for that core to work correctly, but it's a slow week at work so I've got time, hah.
  7. A general google search brought me to this older thread... Just got Launchbox to switch my arcade cabinet from Hyperspin, and want to consider finally resolving my frustrations with playing 4-way games with my 8-way sticks. I was thinking about replacing my player 1 8-way with this servostik (or the mag stik if it avoids the additional setup hassle). My current joysticks go to an ipac-4 keyboard encoder, so I'm wondering if anyone else has a similar setup and uses the servostik with a keyboard encoder and launchbox? Is the best way to go through setup still with the Launchbox LedBlinky controls? Thanks
