  1. @faeran ill try my best to find a way to replicate the playcount jump so far i think it has something to do with games that have playcount on PC then the next time that game is played is on android after importing. It then seems to be normal if alternate between pc and android. Before it was consistently jumping by two every sync. The dreaded doubling of playtime/count didnt happen yet on my testing but i havent tested enough to comfortable say its fixed. Thats the big one i have my fingers crossed. If beta two is close i might wait for that before testing more. Also since i dont really know how the whole syncing works should it be fine to manually reset or alter the playtime/count on games? When i first noticed these problems i ended up making a fresh LB install to try and fix it so i lost all my old statistics but kept most of them in a notepad file, it would be nice to re add my playtime for my most played games. I also ended up deleting and creating a new LB database account many times because i assumed that had something to do with syncing but i have been sticking with this one for now.

I tested the sync changes for about an hour and i found some issues: If you have playtime on a game on pc and import to android with network share that game wont get the statistics from PC and when you launch it on android all the playtime will get reset to zero, then it will start to sync from there If a game has playtime on PC and you import to android normally not using network share the game will have its playcount synced correctly but shows zero playtime. If you then play the game on PC and sync again it will now show the correct playtime on android Playcount seems to jump up in increments of 2 between syncs randomly. I couldnt pinpoint what exactly causes this but its very frequent I have made a bug report earlier about sync issues and ill continue to update there aswell while i test

  7. Statistic syncing is still broken for me, i have made a bug report about this but im making this thread to see if others are having this issue aswell. I use LB on my windows 11 machine and zfold 2 android phone, when using the statistic syncing feature it bugs out and instead of syncing the correct playtime and playcount it doubles them. The latest update for PC LB seems to have made a little improvement since before each sync the playcount on games was rising by 2 each time but with limited tests that seems to work now. I got 6 correct syncs until all of the statistics got doubled again. i have turned off syncing for now, is there an update in the works for android that is going to look into this?

  10. I would love one simple change to the default themes Discovery view, How could i add the achievement badge to show up here while scrolling games next to the star rating? its annoying to go to the game details just to check if a game supports achievements
  11. Games imported by network share don't get their data synced until you first launch them on android and then it wiped all previous data. For example i import my whole PS1 platform via network share but none of the games show any playtime or favorites or anything until i launch one of them and then all of the data for that game is reset to zero.

  15. Since these updates addressed some playtime sync issues and i have experienced multiple of those before i did some testing by creating fresh LB builds of both. So far it seems that the updates have fixed many issues but i found that N64 playtime and play-count sync between PC and Android is still broken. I imported 2 different full ROM sets on PC and chose Beetle adventure racing (LB ID #1067) as the test game to import to android and the old problem of playtime not syncing correctly and getting doubled persists. As a play by play i import the games to PC then only beetle adventure to android and after launching it only on android and letting the sync do its thing, there's no playtime on PC but 2 play-count. I delete the game and platform on android and reset the playtime and count on PC and the phantom 2 play-count keeps appearing every time LB syncs. I then manually remove all playtime from the N64 XML on PC which seems to fix the issue. I then try again to import it to android and it immediately syncs and shows 4 play-count now both on android and PC. I delete everything n64 related on android and manually reset XML on PC which for now has fixed the problem on PC at least.   17. What happened with RetroAchievement? i updated to beta 3 and scanned and it went from 7760 games to 18956
  18. I thought making a new database accoung would be enough but iv sent an email to get my sync data cleared. Im hoping that will fix my issues, im still wondering what could cause this though. I noticed that the platform xml for playstation for example is "Sony Playstation" on android and just "Playstation" on my pc install, could that mess up the sync data?
  19. I have major issues with the launchbox sync aswell now. How do you sync your data between android and PC?
  20. The sync feature is bugging out for me. It doesnt sync the same playtime/playcount from my pc to my android. For some games it doesnt sync at all and for others it seems to double them and for some its random. Iv tried uninstalling lb android, deleting all the folders and reinstalling aswell as deleting my lb database account and creating a new one but the problem remains. Anyone have any idea what could be wrong? Where does launchbox pull the sync data from?

I'm having a very annoying issue where playtime and play count stats are basically random for some reason. i noticed that suddenly my game was showing only 30mins of playtime when i know it should be near 3h and after doing some testing i noticed that its basically random. I have 15 mins played on beetle adventure racing for example, i import it to lb android and sync and it shows 2h of playtime out of nowhere.

    Idk what you mean by Datagrid but im talking about the views you get from the buttons on the top right of the theme. Image view sorts fine but the others don't
