didnt work , i try “Override high DPI scaling behavior” by application - not work , nothing changed by system - work but blurry by system advanced - just broke launchbox i dont have disable dpi scaling in win10 only options above

OK i fixed manually platform categories but still have this : Cant see top layer of text. (3840x2160) 300% scale windows 10 EDIT: in 1024x768 100% scale i can see all text

I have problem with this i dont have in Edit Platform , Category.

OK maybe i am missing something but still get error when creating new playlist or category : "You must specify at least one location for this playlist to display in Platform Categories." But i cant see nothing only this :

I just can only hope we can see subfolders in Genres too. Like STRATEGY ---turn based ---realtime ---economy

@Jason Carr Nice new Beta. Hoping Nested folders or subfolders will be in this version. Anyway i have question about installation. Should it always try to install direct X everytime ? I always denied it (maybe for let it go through when official version comes out) It just strike me like it just reinstall it every time and betas comes out really often but no big deal. And one little bug maybe. When i install new beta version for some reason launchbox launch like 10x10 pixel window and i must resize it and make it fullscreen. When i launch it manually it stays normal maximazed (full window). Anyway no big deal it is beta.

Ok , yes i try it change it in default theme (only make copy of said xaml file) It looks like Default theme is somehow protected because when i copy it and name it Game Details change theme my changes work so i have now text --screenshots --- video . All i do was copy and delete few code lines. (they look like html code it was easy figuring out wht to copy and what not) But thank you for pointing out. I will mess with it a lot more

Thank you for suggestion . I try mess it with it a little but Launchbox dont launch at all when i move things aound. Must be doing something wrong.

Hello , i know i can show and hide things in game details panel like video , platform , status , notes , Screenshots etc.. But it is possible to swap positions of that like i wanna first have screenshots then notes and then video ? Thank you for answer.

OK no problem , i know promise something is easy , making it true even with best effort is harder. But keep up good work. (and mak subfolders true wink wink)

@Jason CarrThank you for new Beta. Is there some milestones you wanna hit ? I secretly wish nested folders aka custom folders and subfolders will be implemented soon. (ok now it is public wish) I wanna sort games like Strategy ---Turn based --- Realtime ---Economic Anyway i also wish you set milestone few versions ahead like (i know you have this is in mind but make it public atleast something) : In 8.7 expect better rendering of images , in 8.8 implemented internal web browser for better image and videos managament , in 8.9 expect subfolders ,in 9.0 BOSS key for playing in work etc, etc. And of course everything is subjected to changes when my cat overlord commands me otherwise. Pretty please

OK after last update images look much much better , even with 1.45 ratio. Zoom slider enhanced to get even smaller images help a lot. But welcome version selection screen still dont show all the way down but really dont care about that.

Yes i know but in comparision with yours m images are still huge for some reason. I get it it will take time. I just wanna point out that error is not caused by that we dont change aspect ratio. I will try Launchbox on my secondary pc over the weekend and post results. (It will be even more fun 3840x2160 resolution)

Yes i think it has to be some scaling issues but when me or @klownk or somebody else point it out we just get change your aspect ratio. I even try scaling compatibility but no change. Original Launchbox handle this well.

i am running 1920x1080 (max what i get from my laptop) resolution on 150% scaling. (very huge tv) , some games give me wrong scaling issue but simple scaling compatibility in windows fix it. i agree steam banners are weird ones but in original Launchbox they are fine. I have aspect ratio max out but is i say just images got bigger. And as you can see zoom slider is at minimal value.

Same here. Even i point out several times in Beta section only answer i was getting was change your aspect ratio. That i have this view in original Launchbox. And now i have this with same options in Next. Answer is change your aspect ratio. Dont know how bigger aspect ratio will help us because pictures get bigger and bigger. And one more thing. This is welcome selection screen. Yes i cant see options at all.

@Jason Carr New welcome page with launchbox selection dont scale properly. I dont see lower place of the page, so i cant choose launchbox version.. Using 1920x1080 , 150% scale (big tv screen ) win 10 Maybe thats why i have problems with gap between covers. EDIT : yup in OG Launchbox covers dont change size but in Next they are twice as big then on 100%. And gap between them is larger.

It got little better now but still the gap is huge. (see red arrow) (trying turn off and on options like Align text vertically , only thing changes i have bigger boxes around. As you can see on picture i use steam banner as cover for games , i set all to zero (too bad i cant insert negative values) with text lines to 2 and aspect ratio 1.00 (with more ratio images are closer but much bigger , notice : images are put to smallest size possible) And now original LB (only difference here is ratio 1:45 but even on 1:00 no gap) Thank you for suggestions. Maybe in full version it will work more closer to original version

Why so huge gaps between ? Spacing set to 0 except text to 2. Maybe i set something wrong.

Please Free Folder Mode Why is always that some nice piece of software is just few steps from perfection ? I try many Game lauchers and always there is some small things i am missing. So please include Free Folder Mode, linux version can wait, they have some nice piece of software anyway.

ok my thougts on this : email was little weird but i must agree with it (maybe next time and i hope nobody will threaten you again just send short mail with link to forum for people who will want know more) if you like Launchbox and people around it and want support them even with words will do , others just shrug shoulders and move on ( nobody force you do anything) Jasons work is thinking about better things for launchbox and dont waste time with some scumbag who thinks he is untouchable and threaten him over mail with some accusations that somebody maybe say on launchbox forum : lets ban his youtube channel for Jason : hold on and bury that scumbag six feet under

Hi @Jason just wanna telly you i dont make it to 5.0 launch too much work and too much heat everywhere, inside house , outside i can barely move these days , i have around 40% translated to czech

Hi Jasson i think a little and i want translate Launchbox to Czech language. Yes it is a small country but i think some people here will like it. I cant promise it will be completed soon but i get bored in my job sometimes ?.
