I have video of my games from emumovie but I dont found how I make it display on my launchbox games menu >< All you have to do is make sure the movie file is the same as 1 the game name in lb 2 the file name Then copy the video to the video dir of that system in launch box. emu movies is great and not to expansive tho I'm trying to make a few of my own for games that are missing
  4. Hi I have just installed new beta it now shows the correct number of games when you highlight the title but when you select it you just get all the games. thank you
  5. I love final fantasy games so I made a custom filter in launch box and it works fine just lists all final fantasy games. when I go to bigbox mode I can select the custom filter but it show all my games not just the final fantasy ones. any idea's? thanks
  6. @Jason Carr That would be great
  7. Jason Carr said @orac31, unfortunately if I let controllers work in Big Box while it's not focused, then Big Box would be doing things while you're playing games, etc. Unfortunately Windows sometimes steals focus away from programs during startup, so this happens occasionally. Not sure if there's anything I can really do to get around that issue. @Jason Carr its no big problem and if I use the big box exe it does not seem to be a problem at all thank you
  8. Maddoc1007 said @orac31 i dont know about daphneloader but for scummvm see below image for setting up scummvm games, as i think a picture paints a 1000 words good job I only did one game thank you again
  9. Maddoc1007 said @orac31 did you check through task manager if it closes down epsx2 process running in background with no console unchecked in misc menu as this can cause lag in BigBox or LaunchBox if the process doesnt fully close down yep your right just checked task manager they are still running will try joy to key with that as well
  10. Am I going about this the right way it works but is it right. 1 run DaphneLoader configure the game in advanced click show command line and run the game. 2 copy and past commant line in text file and add the game as a bat file to lb leaveing bat file in DaphneLoader dir. for scumm I make a bat file for each game leave bat file in exe dir and add them as games. for example scummvm sky
  11. Just remember ESCAPE key only closes games then use ALT+F4 to exit emulator. I have show console unchecked in misc menu so when I press escape the emulator closes
  12. my god I'm stupid I always went to big box from the main program I did not no there was a bigbox exe thanks
  13. when I press the big box button if I have any windows open I have to close them or minimize them before I can control it with joystick. also is there anyway to run straight into big box mode on first start. thanks
  14. Maddoc1007 said @orac31 esc is the default setting for closing out of epsxe yep did a google search and found there is no way round it so for a fix I am using joy2keys with a profile just for espxe which loads when espxe is loaded
  15. Hi I cant quit espx with my button combo the window closes but game still runs in background I have to go to task manager to close it. if I just use escape its fine. any idea's please
  16. what I have done is downloaded pcsx2bounes from the pcsx2 site its a front end that lets you make custom configs. moved the config folder to for example shadow hearts 2 (which you need software to play) and used the line zed spot said to use in custom config. --cfgpath="F:\Launchbox\Games\Sony Playstation 2\Shadow Hearts - Covenant [Disc1of2]" --nogui --fullscreen --fullboot works well for me

    Amiga cd 32

I did a google search and found this for win uae. winuae.exe -f CD32.uae -G -s quickstart=cd32,0 -cdimage= use no spaces before caps. it works fine as long as you make a cd32 config in win uae with full screen set(I cant get full screen working from command line) I will look into fs uae later but happy I have found this
  18. right I copyed and pasted your bat file put a /r in where it missing (think the forum cut them) and its now working for all games thank you for taking the time to help.
  19. orac31 said here it is named roms
  20. here is my dirs
  21. again thanks for your help have put roms and changed it as you told me but looks like bat file is not adding the line cd /d "F:\Launchbox\Emulators\Capcom Play System III" so if I edit the bat files it makes and put this line in it works fine so its finding the roms and making the bat files but instead of above line it just adds cd.. I will check to see if bat .file copied and pasted ok from post. again thanks for taking time to help
  22. right this is the bat file I am using now @echo off :: Change these to relevant paths (NO QUOTES) set roms=F:\LaunchBox\Games\Capcom CPS3 set emu=F:\Launchbox\Emulators\Capcom Play System III set exe=emulator.exe ::############################################################### ::############################################################### ::############################################################### :: Change nothing below here. ::############################################################### set batloc=%~dp0 :: Creates a temp filelist of the romset cd /d "%roms%" for /f "delims=" %%f in ('dir /A-D /B /O:GEN') do echo %%~nf>> "%batloc%\filelist.txt" cd /d "%batloc%" :: Creates a temp batch file which serves as the template to be duplicated echo cd ..> template.bat echo start "Emulator" "%emu%\%exe%" %%~n0>> template.bat :: Creates a "launcher" batch file for each entry in the filelist mkdir "%batloc%\output" set output=%batloc%\output for /f "usebackq delims=," %%b in (`TYPE filelist.txt`) do copy template.bat "%output%\%%b.bat" del filelist.txt del template.bat :: Moves each batch file to it's own folder cd /d "%output%" for %%m in (*.bat) do ( md "%%~nm" 2>nul move "%%m" "%%~nm" ) :: Finish up msg * Finished! Now rename all folders to the game name. start "" "%output%" and this is a bat it gives me cd .. start "Emulator" "F:\Launchbox\Emulators\Capcom Play System III\emulator.exe" %~n0 now I read your post and edited the bat to this. cd /d "F:\Launchbox\Emulators\Capcom Play System III" start "Emulator" "F:\Launchbox\Emulators\Capcom Play System III\emulator.exe" %~n0 and the game runs fine I could edit each one but would like to use bat file for other systems any idea what I have wrong. thanks again mike
