  1. Is nested filters available yet? Any video on this working? I started another thread looking for ideas, I'm wondering if it would help? _____ I have a bunch of lightgun games now that my aimtrak's are fully functional. The games are cross platform. I have setup a custom filter with a special tag I place in the game details, its tedious process. I can change my view in Big Box (BB) to a customer filter, but its not ideal process. I'm looking for better ideas. Can I just create a new platform? Call it LightGun, and move all my light games (cross emulators) into this platform for easy selection? Is there a better way to do mark and pull these up in BB? _______ J

  3. @arzoo, Geez. I never saw the FE button in the controls editor before, I looked everywhere at least I thought! Thanks for pointing that out.
  4. Looking for any suggestions on how to start this using launchbox. I've tried MSDOS (without dosbox), but the hod3launch.exe just opens and closes when used with Launchbox. Works great outside of LB, I'm also using TS2 for dual guns. Thanks for any help/suggestions. Jesse
  5. I have the controls lit up with bigbox, @arzoo, is there anywhere I can set RGB settings for these controls? Right now its just white. I'd also like to add in a few other admin buttons to define. I can figure out where it pulls the bigbox settings from, but where is the Speak commands defined for launchbox controls? Thanks Jesse

  7. @Jason Carr, For LEDBlinky, do you have any more info on which settings to choose inside ledblinky setup? I have it set to other FE, maybe I should try hyperspin. Right now, when LEDBlinky is set in launchbox preferences path, mame doesn't launch correctly, so not sure exactly what is being passed. Works fine when no ledblinky path is set in launchbox. Thanks.

  9. I don't have game controllers turned on in Bigbox. FYI.
  10. I don't think its game controller related. I do use an xbox one controller here and there with n64 emulator, but when I have had the crashes, its not plugged in. I'm using two mini ipac's and two pac64 led controllers. J
  11. Bigbox crash is happening to me, typically after playing a game, coming out of emulator and then looking for a new game I get a crash. I can generate logs if needed. 5.9 latest beta as of today. J
  12. Hi, Maybe I'm missing something obvious, with just basic windows. I have a bat file setup to shutdown ledblinky and do other things like put the computer to sleep, activated by a defined shortcut such as f11 or other. While in bigbox mode, it seems it blocks all f or f11 keys and any other combos I try to to assign the shortcut too. Any suggestions? Thanks
  13. Jason , Any news on LedBlinky Support in beta? @DrEvil , Yes, I have just a bat file launching ledblinky.exe 1, then bigbox. MAME games work great. For other systems, I have 'additional apps' configured to start ledblinky with a param for the name of the platform which maps the correct leds to buttons. There is a new tool that someone built out on the hyperspin forum called RocketBlinky which generates the ledblinkycontrols.xml based on your layout for other platforms like NES, SNES etc. I only have a few games setup to launch additional apps because there is no bulk edit for additional apps. If someone has any creative ideas on how to bulk edit the xml file for additional apps, I'm all ears. I'd really just like to see LEDBlinky and Launchbox work nicer together. I'd hate to have to go Launchbox to RL just to have led's when we are soooo close with just Launchbox. Thanks. Jesse
  14. Hi Everyone, I have LEDBlinky working very nicely with MAME in launchbox. I'm wondering about my other platforms. I would like to use the controls editor to set LED's for consoles like NES, SNES, etc. I'm using retroarch, but can't get LEDBlinky to have anything show up in the controls editor to edit. Looking for suggestions or options to pass along some info using RA from Launchbox. Thanks. Jesse
  15. batco, Totally agree. Just getting into this, I have played around with HyperSpin and RL for a few weeks. Its obviously very extensible, but the configuration and utilities scope creep is just out of hand. Too many tools needed for simple configurations, xml manipulation, database cleaning, etc. This is where Launch Box really shines. @Jason Carr- LEDBlinky has such a following in other front ends, and led control hardware that I think you will see a large bump in your license sales if you get this added, and along with adding it on the LEDBlinky webpage of supported front ends. J
