The MAME importer in Launchbox is using the current data (0.201) to get rom names, it is likely that the naming convention gor MAME has changed since 2003. That would be my only guess as to why it would not import anything at all, it simply cant find any of the games.

    Happened for me on at least 3 other random systems

    done nothing different on re-import... it wasn't the only system it happened on for me.

    I'd probably wait for someone who knows what they are talking about first.

    • I installed the latest version of MAME.
    • I downloaded the: MAME 2003 Reference Set: MAME 0.78 ROMs, CHDs, and Samples from Archive.org
    • I used the new option: Import MAME arcade full set in Launchbox.
    • I went through the various options, using the same process as ETA Prime, also adding my EmuMovies account for Snaps
    • Then I waited.
    • A very long time indeed (I think it took around 12 hours to grab all the videos and metadata and such).

    That brings me to today. Having finally completed - and with no errors - Launchbox shows no games in the arcade tab. In fact, no matter what I hide/unhide, they are nowhere to be found. I wonder if any of you knowledgable folks can help? I'm clearly doing something completely wrong.

    mine took 23 hrs and yes I had that same issue and had to re-import.

    im using 200 but i guess the point is the import is just listing whats in the database as a total which is incorrect. so if someone tries to only import 10 games it will say 36000 has imported and say you have that many games.

    Yeah, Merged set has less files than actual games, all the clones are packed into the games zip file. The importer, if you chose to add all the clones that would inflate the game total compared to the file count.

    even if you change the camera properties things will still get cut off or youll still see the image of the next logo, is it not possible to set the property spacing evenly for the entire wheel as the logos get closer to the end of the screen as the rotationamount brings the logo closer on one side or even set the property for each logo appearing on the screen. Is it possible to scale the clear logos as they appear so spacing for different sized images is equal?

    if i increase the visiblecount then more display on the wheel and you also get  a little preview image of the next clear logo, or is this something not achievable yet? I've played with every combination of

  8. Is it possible with the clear logo coverflow to make everything in the wheel the same amount of transparency except the selected middle logo and have the middle logo not have lines through it like in the image below?

    On a side note my hdd with my videos is disconnected selected All platform then ctr + a in the view and got the following message in Launchbox and when clicking on OK it closes LaunchBox without an error, so maybe an exception instead of closin?image.png.afdde48d39c101abbf294c2bc377834f.png

    Sorry I should of been more clear I'm talking about how he removed search and was able to make the letters centred evenly as the default is opposite of that not centred and not evenly spread out, so like depending on the letter the padding? for each letter is different.

    Did you create another Style? If so do you mind showing me how you done it? or did you just place it in a viewbox and removed/added padding?

  13. Hey @Grila are you able to have a look at this for me? I'm not able to centre the dot and it also gets cut off when going to the A-Z search? Maybe a better way to do it?

    I haven't touched TurboGrafx; what format are the ROM files in?

    for all systems file extensions that i imported are .zip and .7z

    mame - .zip (nope, just imported the folder)
    nec turbografx-16 - .7z
    nec turbografx-cd - .7z

  15. not sure if the correct thread... just imported the following systems below, got no errors however it did not import all games.

    mame - 16892/16936
    nec turbografx-16 - 88/94
    nec turbografx-cd - 45/46 (didn't import Fantasy Star Soldier (USA))
