  1. Strangely I can not run Galaxian (JAP) with puNES, not h or still tried retroarch, but if it does not work with PuNES ....

Anyone have succeeded to work  galaxian?

  2. With hakchi2 , we can add rom to Nes Classic Mini .
I tried adding a series of ROM I use with puNES

Our hakchi2 warns us when some games are not compatible because the emulator running in the Nes Classic mini does not support certain instructions,

and many game not work like Dragon Buster :D

PuNES's dev was much better than those who cared for the emulation on the Nes Classic Mini: D

Mame works just fine, it was just something I did a while back when first setting up Launchbox. I had an FBA romset and pulled out the separated CPS rom sets and set them to use FBA.

    No special reason beyond that.

Ah ok , Thank you :)

No, we don't. Because with current displays we cannot replicate a CRT with 100% accuracy. Maybe in a few years time it will be possible with the new displays coming having the resolution, pixel density and brightness.

Everyone has their own personal opinion and tastes in how a CRT effect "should" look. Also everyone has a different size and type of display which will have an effect on how a particular shader effect will look.

The beauty with HLSL is that is it so customizable we can tweak it to our own personal tastes.

There is so much "personal subjectivity" when it comes to shaders and CRT effects the discussion gets way out of control in a hurry.

    i agree :/

  5. From  lordmonkus post

    This is result

After showing the video to a Gaming Expert on CRT, this was her analysis.

""The effect of the "false" scanline added to the allaying of the screen graphics offers a strange "grid" effect that completely fails the result. In fact, scanlines are not rows added to the video, but free spaces between a horizontal line and the other, that is, they are not additive but should be implemented by "spanning" the horizontal lines rendered by MAME. I talk to you with an eye accustomed to a Sony Trinitron CRT and an arcade monitor.""

Currently in raster.ini we are using this mask

He suggested that I use a mask like this

    18952573_10213256651360143_9117393118771

Do we accept the challenge against CRT lovers? : D

It was designed for CRT use but you aren't confined to CRT use only, it can be used with LCD displays.

I have real coin op too , , but i used (bad) Pandoras Box 4 , One day, inside I put a mini PC with launchbox, but I have to convert everything from Jamma :/

I've been using this guys custom compiled version of Mame 186 where he has D3D9ex built into it which has lower input latency than the normal Mame and normal D3D. This custom compiled version has the nag screens disabled as well as really killer looking HLSL settings. If you decide to try it out generate your mame.ini file with the command mame64.exe -cc and then set your video to d3d and hlsl_enable to 1.

Watch this guys videos at your own peril, he comes off as a total prick but he knows his stuff.

On Bartop I use 0.185, and I assure you that if we write rawinput in the filename, we get the same result that we have in RAW backward.
It is not possible that it is just my impression: D
I want to see if I also find the Big Blue 0.185.
    Thanks for the info !!
