  1. What is the best emulatrore dreamcast you might meglioa of adapting to the mini PC with launchbox? On Youtube I saw several experiments dreamcast emulators perfectly compatible with baytrail, but I have not understood the command configuration settings they were well clear.
What do you use for dreamcast?

  2. After running the latest update to my bartop of launchbox (7.)  known some instability probably due to an error during the update.
I wonder if you can reinstall launchbox (using the file from the Update folder), without any configuration loss.

How do I do Step by Step?

How so? When it's setup in LB CCS64 will launch directly into a game (and in fullscreen once you set it in the video options) and then you're right back to LB/BB when you exit... I'm not sure what else you'd want.

From Launchbox game launch without slow loading ?

I wouldn't recommend MESS/MAME for C64. The emulation just isn't up to par currently. There isn't an officially released RA core either at the moment. There is a preliminary Frodo core on the Libretro forums, but you have to build it yourself, and it's buggy to boot.

For C64 emulation your best bet is going with a dedicated emulator, for the time being anyway.

Hoxs64, WinVice, and CCS64 are all good options. CCS64 is the one I use. It's the only one of the three that works via Steam Link, and it's got some extremely handy features like auto-warp (maximum 1541 speed) which makes it automatically speed up during disk loading and slow back down to normal once loading is complete. You can also do things like create a save state file and load the state as your "rom" in LB and it'll start up the emulator and game right to where you saved.

It also supports a wide range of file formats for disks, carts, and tapes.

    Ho to setting auto-warp  in HOXs64 ?

    Thank you  !!!

  6. The problem is the following.
If Big Box enable the volume control + and -, it works perfectly if we raise or lower the volume when we BigBox,

But if we start a game, if we try to lower or increase the voume (I use a combo of buttons for volume as Select + B), the B button after adjusting the volume will work intermittently.
Everything starts to work if we leave the game and then we start again.

  7. In fact, in another thread I had posted what were the console adapted to bartop .
Nes, Snes, Megadrive , PC Engine , Game Boy , Game Boy Advance

    STOP .

in short, all those who had not the console and do not have analog sticks.

  8. In traditional and also special bartop, I seem to me that all adopt the same position of the buttons on the dashboard.
But ... that's great for MAME = Arcade games, but I've never seen anyone just leave MAME in bartop, most of us place all possible, Nintendo NES, Megadrive, SNES, PC Engine, and are fine because these consoles had no analog sticks, then we find those who place there also the Playstation games, GameCube and other consoles where he makes extensive use of analog sticks, but this is another "problem" needless to discuss it in this thread.
I use that Retroarch not configure buttons on each emulator but in this case uses a unique configuration for all emulators (apart mame), and thanks to this now STANDARD position, playing the SNES and Megadrive titles is always unnatural and too contrived and artificial.
Perhaps for the placement of the buttons on the dashboard should try the Pad position of the Super Nintendo.

    A few remarks:

These are officers of the joystick console
