  1. Scrape as feature is a god send for all my wonky Japanese systems. Thanks so much for this. I can finally start building a decent Famicom and Super Famicom wheel and further expand my NEC wheels.
  2. Oh, great to hear. I can patiently wait.
  3. Anyone know a trick or solution to have one back ground image for all game back grounds? Reason I ask I am trying to go for a universal look and I would also like to cut down on image space for a more light build. For example in my Nintendo wheel I would like a static image of mario while looking through games, Sega would be a static sonic background, etc.
  4. I did some NEC platform images that got buried in an old thread for who ever was asking. They are based off the default NEC TG16 Bigbox art and original console box art for the systems.
  5. All the new views look great. I have not powered on my box to update but plan to tonight. Which button would be best to map on the controller to switch views?
  6. Loving the performance gains in the latest few builds for BB.
  7. Cool I will give it a try tonight, will report back thanks.
  8. I am bashing my head in the wall over this. I use custom clear logos for my wheel and system menu. For what ever reason since the last few updates so matter what changes I make the default NES LB logo will show in my list despite not being anywhere on my system. To simply things I have made a video to show you what I am talking about. https://youtu.be/iDcFrUMixU0
  9. Yeah it is a really complicated process but that is why we are all here. Regardless the future looks bright which ever direction the database goes. I mainly use the metadata through LB for all the description info and 90% of the time use Circo's images until the LB DB gets fully rolling. I wouldn't mind working on all the Japanese odds and ends entry's. I love the NEC systems which is why I have them all separated or my OCD twitches. The Famicom and Super Famicom really need some love in the image departments.
  10. So I got Doom running through Retroarch with full controller support, which is amazing I might add! Does LB support a seperate platform for just Doom or does that go under Windows, or DOS at that?
  11. The only issue I see with this is when two roms from two different folders joined under one database will conflict with one another. How does the system know that Super Mario Bros. 2 Famicom and Super Mario Bros. 2 NES (bad example I know) are different roms, are you using the crc to check against the roms? If so then one database that has the ability to split off is not a bad thing.
  12. I hate the idea of merging systems from different regions. Each system should be treated separate with their own metadata and images. Lumping the PC Engine, PC Engine CD, TG-16, TG-CD and SuperGrafx is a complete nightmare when sorting the game titles and calling back to Emumovies for correct videos. I can assure you that is going to put a lot of people off and keep them away from LB because you are limiting the database. The only way around this is importing your rom folders separate, let it pull down all the meta data from the lumped TurboGrafx 16 or sometimes TurboGrafx-16 folder (it likes to split sometimes) and then going to platform management and rename it to the correct system and do it all again. I have been able to make separate library for all my NEC systems this way and it you prioritize Emumovies over the images it will pull mostly correct data. Now the Nintendo systems are a whole other beast but I wont get into that.
  13. Does this also work with bigbox? I tested a little bit in Launchbox and when I tried to exit a game it just minimized the window with 1.4, all other features seem to be working. I love the independent config files, great work so far.
  14. I tried setting up Mess in Retroarch for Atari 5200 but I can not find anything but Mess 2014 with Retroarch 1.3 and I have not been able to get that to work. I saw this google link https://www.launchbox-app.com/wiki/tags/atari-5200 and was wondering if that is what everyone uses.
  15. The only feature I am dying for is being able to set a single static background for your game list in each system. It would greatly cut back on media size and not rely using blown up screen shots that make everything look a mess. I love Big Box mode so much but it makes my OCD twitch so bad that I am thinking on removing all screen shots and just going with a blank and boring black background it defaults too.
  16. I tried using the AHK script and it didn't work as well. I still get the would you like to quit box if I exit via controller rather than keyboard.
  17. Credit to gibbawho for the original PSD's. I have over 48 for just about most of the common or popular systems. No I don't take request but if the power's that be wants me to upload them to the official image database I will. The white forum background null's out some of the logo's but they are still there.
