I forgot to cancel the psnow week trial so now i got another month for 20 bucks...not complaining even if i cant finish last of us there are many other great games like God of War, Ico ,Shadow of the Colossus etc... to play many good times ahead the next 30 days

I did encounter a part recently where i need to shake the controller to fix my flashlight....not sure if it will eventually fix itself.

It doesent look awful without vsync just isnt as butter smooth looking as i would like. Hopefully i can find a fix. Most games work well like if i play most AAA Games its butter smooth

yes that is with vsync on...its awful. hopefully a fix is in the future....

Yea i just turned it off...honestley it looks better than with vsync on just not perfect. Oh well maybe an update to retroarch or a driver will fix it soon. Id love a gsync monitor but i do alot of gaming on my tv for the most part

I still havent been able to get good vsync. Ive noticed this is an issue across all applications that utilize GL as opposed to D3D...unfortunatley my retroarch just crashes when i use D3D

I seem to have strangely fixed it by just resetting my factory settings in in nvida control panel...still not perfect but better. Honestly I dont think i changed much of anything in my nvidia settings, but i could be wrong. It seems that the games will start with screen tearing sometimes, and then fix themselves. Very strange, but glad to hear I am not alone. Thanks Jason and keep up the great work.

Hello, I seem to be having trouble with getting my retroarch emulator to run smoothly as far as vsync goes. I always have some screen tearing no matter what I do in retro arch. When i run other games or emulators they run quite smoothly. not sure if Retro Arch is just not good at implementing vsync. I have tried enabling vsync in retroarch, disabling it, turning on HARD Vsync and many combinations of these setting on or off but to no avail. I have also enabled and disabled vsync in my nvidia control panel. There is also a display of your monitors estimated refresh rate, i have tried manually adjusting it but since it fluctuates so much it seem impossible to get it to work. Is there anything else I can try or anything you would reccomend to work? I have also tried rolling back my nvidia driver. My specs are as follows 7/16/16 latest version of retro arch Core i7 Geforce 960m with latest drivers Windows 10 anniversary update. Also note I am on a laptop, and I do switch between the laptop display and my TV which may be causing the issue. Thanks

I recently subscribed to the 7 day trial of PSNow which is Sony's game streaming network. It works greater than i could've imagined with little to no lag. I am quite impressed with it. I mostly am interested in playing The Last of Us/ One thing about the network thankfully, is that it does allow support for 3rd party controllers, or the option of purchasing an adapter to use PS4 controllers on your PC. Some PS3 games used the "motion control function" in their games. Does The Last of Us have any instances that require the use of the motion controls? If so I will not be able to complete the game using my, XBOX One Controller unfortunately. Thanks

If you have steam running in the tray/background and press the xbox guide button it will bring up steam in desktop mode. Press it again and it should bring up big picture. Manually make a shortcut to big box in steam and viola! However, you may have to disable the Xbox Guide button from opening game DVR. Which can be disabled under the Xbox Apps settings. Update on my progress im actually still working on cleaning my images it found 10k + which i have to manually delete been leaving the program running and just do a handfull a day click click click click DELETE DELETE DELETE!

I downloaded it just fine no spyware detected

Seems i could just do a search for 100% identical...which is what i should've done

Seems to work good so far....unfortunately it seems i have to manually delete them all....not sure if there is a way to just delete all that match 100% at once? I could be missing something. This will be a long night :lol

Hello, I am a big fan of Launchbox keep up the good work! Not sure how I did it (i have several theories) but i seem to have obtained several duplicate images in many games across platforms, from boxes to screen shots logos etc.... Does anyone recommend any utilities or methods for getting rid of these? Other than starting over again. Thanks!

I actually followed your tutorial as well previously and I am using your BIOs files. I just feel i may have disabled a setting somewhere or something. Not sure what coudl be wrong everything seems to be pointing in the right place.

Hello, I cant seem to get Sega CD Files to load. I have followed all the steps on the youtube tutorial on the launchbox channel. I have the updated genesis plus gx in my retroarch cores I have retroarch configured to look at the "system" directory with my BIOS files I have the proper BIOs files named bios_CD_E bios_CD_U etc... in that folder and it matches what is in my CORE INFORMATION in retroarch. All my files have proper .bin and .cue sheets Not sure what else I can do beyond that am i missing something? Let me know if you require any further information.

I installed a seperate MAME 64.exe just to test out the roms and most roms launch but when i try to launch neo geo roms or street fighter 2 turbo it says im missing roms or CHD images. @sentaibrad @jasoncarr

Ive tried using retro arch too, i downloaded MAME and Final Bun cores too to see if those work...unfortunately not. Maybe there is some sort of basic or critical configuration setting im overlooking in launchbox or mame?
