Sent him a ton of Coffees just now. Hope he knows that people out here appreciate his work. Hope he returns my email.
Fingers crossed.
I e-mailed him too, myself. He never asked for money. He released his themes freely because he's also passionate. It really sucks how shitty people online can be-- and how dealing with it can suck all motivation out of you.
I know he sells some of his work on RedBubble or one of those similar T-shirt sites. I had thought about buying hist Pepsi Man print shirt. So if you are really looking to support him, I'd seek him out there.

How do I the little video the play in the system video and the misc. image to show up instead of the logo?
Also can I get the screen background you have when you go to the menu in Bigbox? I would love to have it as wallpaper on the cab!
Friggin' AWESOME theme!
Phil seems to have quit doing public themes for the time being. From what I gather. People were stealing his work, editing out his name and taking credit. Then a Cab community he was in asked him for permission to sell cabs with his themes. When he declined, they harassed him with hate. So he pulled his Github and told everyone he was going on hiatus and may not be releasing his work publicly anymore. =(
Damn shame. His work was easily my favorite ( no offense to the rest of you theme-makers) just Retrama so perfectly encapsulated my nostalgia into stunning, yet minimalistic and highly stylized artwork. Im real reeling over not getting all those console/platforms he completed but never got to release. RIP us.
Filipe, if you are reading this. We miss your work greatly! But I respect your need to take a break from all the ass-hats on the internet who'd try to steal or profit off you hard work and passion.
Edit- @latin625 , you have to have the video snaps downloaded from emumovies. Make sure you have an account there so Launchbox can scrape them. You can only pull so many a day unless you have a premium account there, then Launchbox can pull everything it finds on emumovies. (Also, if you want premium, ask around in discord because SOMEBODY in staff can get you a discount code if you are a Premium Launchbox owner.- 1

There is no "portable mode" then? I need to manually edit all of RA's config files?

@PhillsDoodles, Love this theme. May I suggest a few more platforms?
Namely, Sony Playstation 2, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo Wii U, and probably most importantly, Windows Games (PC Games).
I love your work so much but its so unique, its pretty much impossible to find screens/backgrounds for these platforms that mesh well with your others. -
Pokemon Prism 2016 Final Launch Trailer

This is a personal backup of that pokemon fan-game trailer that was shut down last year. Media like this is very susceptible to being lost to time. I enjoy having it on my arcade.

Its taken me forever to get around to this, (sorry) but finally after many requests, I've rendered the original Retro1080 Startup video for those of you building arcades or using CRTs.
I've uploaded Bigbox_Retro is the following standards:
480p
480p (Square Pixels)
240p
And 576p(PAL) for our European friends
And if you want the original in 1080p, you can always find it here:And you can find a 1440p render for Ultra Widescreen Upscaled by GTXMike Here:

So, some emulators support bezzels and some dont. Most retro games though play in 4:3 leaving black bars on modern tvs and I'd love if this front end supported bezels for all games/emulators. In a way that could be easily managed. like a bezel foder in the game media folder.

Im actually subbed to ACG. Didnt know what it stood for though, lol. His reviews are good but sometimes a bit wordy for my tastes, but the effort he puts into his reviews got my sub.
As for another Youtuber, I also like Super Derreck's RPGs - This is a show where a guy reviews jrpgs. New and old.

Pat the NES Punk - This channel is about a collector with a huge ego and his opinions on gaming related topics. He's well versed in the scene and has been around a while, even recently writing a book on NES Games and their history, giving him a quite a bit of clout, but he's opinionated as hell and cocky which will rub some the wrong way. On his channel he posts flea market adventures as well as podcasts where he gives is opinions on various going ons in the scene.

AVGN - (Cinemamassacre) - This channel is about the Angry Video Game Nerd, a personality who is stuck in the past and sits in his basement drinking beer and raging over shitty old video games. One of the oldest channels out there on retrogaming and considered one of the grandfathers of the retro gaming nostalgia movement.

My Life in Gaming - This channel is about two guys and thier journey into RetroGaming. They do videos on things like getting optimal picture from your console as well as explanations and comparisons on why people like CRTs and the alternatives. Interesting channel that is kind of hard to explain about the nuances in tech involving the gaming scene.

site looks great. Wixisite has come a long way with their building tools. My only suggestion would be a left and right arrow for navigating games as the little dots at the bottom of the page are too subtle. Otherwise, great work. Good to see you are passionate about this project.
