  1. Pat the NES Punk - This channel is about a collector with a huge ego and his opinions on gaming related topics. He's well versed in the scene and has been around a while, even recently writing a book on NES Games and their history, giving him a quite a bit of clout, but he's opinionated as hell and cocky which will rub some the wrong way. On his channel he posts flea market adventures as well as podcasts where he gives is opinions on various going ons in the scene. https://www.youtube.com/user/PatTheNESpunk
  2. AVGN - (Cinemamassacre) - This channel is about the Angry Video Game Nerd, a personality who is stuck in the past and sits in his basement drinking beer and raging over shitty old video games. One of the oldest channels out there on retrogaming and considered one of the grandfathers of the retro gaming nostalgia movement. https://www.youtube.com/user/JamesNintendoNerd
  3. My Life in Gaming - This channel is about two guys and thier journey into RetroGaming. They do videos on things like getting optimal picture from your console as well as explanations and comparisons on why people like CRTs and the alternatives. Interesting channel that is kind of hard to explain about the nuances in tech involving the gaming scene. https://www.youtube.com/user/mylifeingaming
  4. Ben Heck Show - This is a channel about a self learned electrical engineer and the neat toys/ projects he builds. He's well known for things such as turning the Xbox One into a Laptop and many other neat projects. https://www.youtube.com/user/thebenheckshow
  5. AlphaOmegaSin - Not a youtuber I profess to liking. He posts about current games and gaming news. He's prolific in his ranting and gained a huge following for his epic rants and profanity dealing with modern gaming news. https://www.youtube.com/user/AlphaOmegaSin
  6. GameSack - This is a channel of two old gaming friends who play and review vintage games. Often pairing several at a time under an underlying theme such as "Best SNES Games That never came to US (But did come out in EU)" https://www.youtube.com/user/MrGameSack
  7. GreenHamGaming - This channel is nearly identical to the one above, in fact, so much so, that it was only recently i learned they werent the same channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCmWRcMQyU-mGL1VRo2J3FuQ/videos
  8. RandomGaminginHD - This youtuber is all about budget pc building and how far you can push old systems into the modern gaming arena. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUzjKyS5r72bfvPkA6GxpRg
  9. ETA PRIME - This is a lesser known channel. He focuses in on Hardware and Emulation. Buying and testing Budget PCs and SingleBoard Computers and seeing how well they perform emulating games. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_0CVCfC_3iuHqmyClu59Uw
  10. The Game Chasers - This is a webshow/documentary of two best pals who are also super into vidja games who travel and look for vintage video games to fill out their collections. (Lots of low-brow humor too such as fart jokes and dick jokes.) https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC78PzEVn5zWK4No0dPQHVQw
  11. MetalJesusRocks - This youtuber is mostly known for his "Hidden Gems" series of video's where he and friends introduce games they believe to be hidden gems on a given platform. https://www.youtube.com/user/MetalJesusRocks Similar content can be found from his friends on the following channels: https://www.youtube.com/user/riggstalgic, https://www.youtube.com/user/icon770, https://www.youtube.com/user/swlovinist, https://www.youtube.com/user/DrunkenMasterPaul, https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSMJHi4vvNu-mETdZokpj8A, and https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCVfhjBPhPY41aHm4DAR4M6Q
  12. Launchbox - Shame on you if you arent following, This channel has all the new updates involving Launchbox and has started to branch out into more emulation news and toplists. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSIht6UXIEXIgz4eXAEShxA
  13. Formatting is all fucked up. Vids overwrote all the text. fixing. Edit: Apparently adding a video deletes all text beneath. Never had this issue before. But it looks like i need to make separate posts. Simply Austin - This channel is dedicated to the emulation scene and frequently updates about new progress in the scene. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCb4RFFBZEztOW77onViqoDA
  14. Hey guys. Pretty sure most of us watch similar stuff on youtube as the emulation/retro-games scene is pretty tight knit, but in the off chance there's some good content out there that im missing or you are missing, I thought this would be a pretty good post. Currently, My fav channels are: LGR - Lazy Game Reviews - This channel reviews a lot of older PC Games and Software. Even built a 486. Great for nostalgic pc guys. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLx053rWZxCiYWsBETgdKrQ
  15. I primarily thought about it for the Launchbox channel but then thought it'd be neat to add some similar (content wise channels) Thought really, I was thinking about how when new features are added, there is a yt video and how much better it'd be if that content was somehow integrated.
  16. Hear me out, im not looking for Youtube to be its own thing inside launchbox. What I'd like to see is the Launchbox channel videos be easily accessible within Bigbox. Especially with the posibility of Retro Spot-light becoming its own thing. I'd even like to see similar channels integrated such as Wood's , The Game Chasers, and Simply Austin. I just think it'd be neat to have all my retro gaming news and entertainment housed within bigbox when I launch.
  17. Magic Kid Googoo Rather than steal his thunder, I'll link to the original forum/thread: http://forums.lostlevels.org/viewtopic.php?p=35234
  18. I just managed to snatch that newly never before dumped NES game.
  19. JUST Tested and it is now working again. Mustve been API as everyone said.
  20. hmm, i still have no issue browsing the site/forum and can access the ftp. Wonder what wizardry is this.
  21. For something a bit different: ( And yes, Im done posting music for the day, lol.)
  22. I agree. He comes off a bit awkward, like whatching a super talented person with autism. But he's got some great music. I own his Royal Albert Hall Concert DVD and often turn it on just for background.
  23. Im on a music kick this morning. Here's some heavier stuff. Good for racing/fighting games. Well, this got out of hand... One song just led to another as I got lost in early 2000s hard rock/metal nostalgia.
