  1. site looks great. Wixisite has come a long way with their building tools. My only suggestion would be a left and right arrow for navigating games as the little dots at the bottom of the page are too subtle. Otherwise, great work. Good to see you are passionate about this project.
  2. I e-mailed him too, myself. He never asked for money. He released his themes freely because he's also passionate. It really sucks how shitty people online can be-- and how dealing with it can suck all motivation out of you. I know he sells some of his work on RedBubble or one of those similar T-shirt sites. I had thought about buying hist Pepsi Man print shirt. So if you are really looking to support him, I'd seek him out there. Edit: https://www.teepublic.com/user/lipebello
  3. Phil seems to have quit doing public themes for the time being. From what I gather. People were stealing his work, editing out his name and taking credit. Then a Cab community he was in asked him for permission to sell cabs with his themes. When he declined, they harassed him with hate. So he pulled his Github and told everyone he was going on hiatus and may not be releasing his work publicly anymore. =( Damn shame. His work was easily my favorite ( no offense to the rest of you theme-makers) just Retrama so perfectly encapsulated my nostalgia into stunning, yet minimalistic and highly stylized artwork. Im real reeling over not getting all those console/platforms he completed but never got to release. RIP us. Filipe, if you are reading this. We miss your work greatly! But I respect your need to take a break from all the ass-hats on the internet who'd try to steal or profit off you hard work and passion. Edit- @latin625 , you have to have the video snaps downloaded from emumovies. Make sure you have an account there so Launchbox can scrape them. You can only pull so many a day unless you have a premium account there, then Launchbox can pull everything it finds on emumovies. (Also, if you want premium, ask around in discord because SOMEBODY in staff can get you a discount code if you are a Premium Launchbox owner.
  4. Anyone got something new? Im itching for some more obscure indie/fangames. Latest game ive enjoyed was Iconoclasts (http://store.steampowered.com/app/393520/Iconoclasts/)
  5. I run mushroom kingdom fusion fine and psycho waluigi. cant help as they just work for me
  6. Goodwork, I'll give these a test later tonight. Been a while since I played Journeyman Proj. Nice project!
  7. There is no "portable mode" then? I need to manually edit all of RA's config files?
  8. Any update on those new platforms you were working on? I've been heartbroken to switch themes but I have far too many that are unsupported by retrorama.. My dream is swap back as I cant get enough of your art!
  9. @PhillsDoodles, Love this theme. May I suggest a few more platforms? Namely, Sony Playstation 2, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo Wii U, and probably most importantly, Windows Games (PC Games). I love your work so much but its so unique, its pretty much impossible to find screens/backgrounds for these platforms that mesh well with your others.
  10. Cool. I personally favor Retrorama. Was just curious. Any plans in making a doodle rendition of the BigBox Logo? I'd like to play with it in after effects when/if you do.
  11. Pokemon Prism 2016 Final Launch Trailer View File This is a personal backup of that pokemon fan-game trailer that was shut down last year. Media like this is very susceptible to being lost to time. I enjoy having it on my arcade. Submitter dmjohn0x Submitted 12/05/2017 Category Game Theme Videos

  13. Well, I'll gladly welcome you to us. Your work on Emulation Station speaks for itself. I dont think I can get enough of your work. Are you thinking about porting SwineApple too?
  14. So glad you got around to doing this! I remember requesting permission to do this theme and you went so far as to make art lacking the raspberry pi logos, but I only got to work on it for a few days before getting swamped by medical issues and life. As such, ive rarely been around. Im quite happy to see that not only was this theme made, but was made by the artist himself! I love your artwork! Would love to see your take on the BigBox Logo too in your signature style <3
  15. I don't use 4:3 myself, or have a CRT to test on. But I'd been requested a few times to add 4:3 startup videos so i obliged. Could be that some of the themes support all resolutions? I dunno.

Its taken me forever to get around to this, (sorry) but finally after many requests, I've rendered the original Retro1080 Startup video for those of you building arcades or using CRTs. I've uploaded Bigbox_Retro is the following standards: 480p 480p (Square Pixels) 240p And 576p(PAL) for our European friends And if you want the original in 1080p, you can always find it here: And you can find a 1440p render for Ultra Widescreen Upscaled by GTXMike Here:

  18. So, some emulators support bezzels and some dont. Most retro games though play in 4:3 leaving black bars on modern tvs and I'd love if this front end supported bezels for all games/emulators. In a way that could be easily managed. like a bezel foder in the game media folder.
  19. Nicobbq - Has a cool series analyzing difference in game between genres.
  20. Im actually subbed to ACG. Didnt know what it stood for though, lol. His reviews are good but sometimes a bit wordy for my tastes, but the effort he puts into his reviews got my sub. As for another Youtuber, I also like Super Derreck's RPGs - This is a show where a guy reviews jrpgs. New and old. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6luZwzy3OLDCs1-f4IdePg Wood seems to get around.
  21. Dunkey - This youtuber is just gaming comedy. Not for everybody but this is probably the channel i follow the most: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsvn_Po0SmunchJYOWpOxMg
  22. ChasingHapiNES- a Channel about the adventures of a collector and his quest, buying, trading, and selling games for the ultimate purpose of owning every NES game CIB. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZyN2YXCt3RLCaYmGHvSYMw
  23. GameQuest - Our own Wood Hawker's gaming adventure channel about what else? Searching for old video games. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCuJyaxv7V-HK4_qQzNK_BXQ
