  1. Wow that really sucks. Here a few thing you can maybe try: - Refresh the image cache for all images (can take a few minutes, just let it do its thing.) - If you are using any custom themes, maybe go back to the default theme to see if that helps. - Increase your Ram cache (In launchbox, its in the Tools>options area all the way at the bottom). I know this can increase performance within launchbox. - I know in the last few releases, Jason updated the .NET to version 4.6.1 in Launchbox/BigBox. Check if you have the latest versions of .NET on your computer. - maybe checking if there are any driver updates for your computer, specifically your graphics card.
  2. martinconroy said On a separate note @Jason Carr - when deleting a platform (Tools... Manage platforms... Delete) this does NOT provide an option to delete the ROM files as per deleting a game. Personally I think it makes sense to add this option here as well for consistency. If you choose not to, I would advise changing the message to be clear that this will not happen, and to delete the games manually if this is what you want.
I think this is a bad idea. Last thing you want is someone deleting an entire platform of games by accident. Just browse to that platforms rom folder in Windows Explorer and Right-click>delete.
  3. Aimtrak lightguns: http://www.ultimarc.com/store/section.php?xSec=7 Don't have one personally but a lot of people online swear by it. There isn't many other options too when it come to lightguns on PC. Dolphin Bar: https://www.amazon.com/Mayflash-W010-Wireless-Sensor-DolphinBar/dp/B00HZWEB74 Great for connecting wii remote to PC. Mayflash makes a bunch of different adapters for many different controllers. Logitech K400r is a great wireless keyboard for htpc setups. Air mouse/keyboards are also an option if you think the k400r is too big. I have this one and its seems to be alright so far: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00K768DHY/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1468471341&sr=8-1&pi=SY200_QL40&keywords=air+mouse&dpPl=1&dpID=51ei5V7rdWL&ref=plSrch PS360+ http://m.play-asia.com/ps360/13/706m8z Arcade stick control board that works with many systems.
  4. @martinconroy Is the "Games" path correct in LaunchBox? You can check by going to "tools>Manage Platforms>Nintendo Nes(or whatever you named your system)>Folder. Also are you Administrator on that PC?
  5. Jason mentioned that he still plans on adding LED blindly support in one of his last Dev session. He is currently looking into buying a bar top cabinet that has LED blinky so that he can properly test this feature. Im sure if you donated a cabinet he would start ASAP ;)
  6. Always a good idea to make a backup of your launchbox folder before updating to a beta build! Check the "Tools > Options > Images" area and make sure you have set your image priorities the way you want them. Also check "Tools > Manage Platforms > 'Choose your system' > Folders" area and making sure it has the correct locations for your art work. Hope this helps!
  7. Thanks Jason. Looks awesome! Is there an option to hide platform banner images? Had to put a transparent image there because I couldn't find the option. Also when I would delete the banner, LaunchBox would just automatically add another one. Also could we get the wheel to fade in and out? It is in the way of the video.snes2.png
  8. Just some ideas: - Add artwork/bezels for mame - Rocketlauncher tutorial once the plug-in for LaunchBox is released. - ScummVM tutorial. - Some AutoHotKey scripts stuff you can do for Windows/DosBox/ScummVM games. - I saw this mentioned on Youtube comments by Ali Essa, that front page BigBox demo video is pretty outdated. Almost a year old. There has been a ton of new features added and it should be updated.
  9. @criticalcid sad to hear :( Really appreciate all the effort you put into this project! Don't know how hard it would be for Jason to do, but +1 on having BigBox support Hyperspin theme zips. Would get around all these roadblocks. Your the man Cid. Chin up!
  10. GonjaT said Zombeaver Thank you for seeing what you can do for the Gameboy and Gameboy Color, as I am certainly looking forward to seeing the outcome of my setup with the art you have created! as for Ps4 I completely understand and will wait. I only request it and have it on my system because I have been working on my home automation setup and will be done hopefully in a month or so.... What the Ps4 wheel will do is when I click the game, and then click play, it will then run a script, send a signal to my harmony hub(change input) to my Ps4 source on the TV, then dim my lights, and also adjust my surround setup to game mode from theater mode. It wont be able to launch the specific game unless i can tie it into PC remote play some how and have it auto navigate to that game from there... but that's something I will look at in the future.
    That sounds so badass lol
