  1. Shadow on text (Images as well?): In this example, I will add shadows to the game wheel view description text. Untitled-1.png 1. Select "WheelGamesView.xaml" in the solution Explorer 2. Then select the right-side of the view Untitled2-1.png 3. Now in the Properties tab, go to Appearance > Effect > New 4. Select "Drop Shadow Effect" and hit OK Now save everything and open your theme in BigBox. Text should now have shadows in the Games Wheel view! :) Before: Untitled2-2.png After: Untitled-3.png

  2. Adjust Wheel Curve: -To to the your desired view that you want to edit and find the grid that contains the wheel. It should be this line: <coverFlow:FlowControl x:Name="FlowControl" HorizontalAlignment="Stretch" VerticalAlignment="Stretch" Grid.Column="0" CoverFactory="{Binding CoverFactory}" ImageType="ClearLogo" CurveAmount="4.5" CameraZPosition="3.0" VisibleCount="14" PageSize="6" /> -Adjust the value in CurveAmount effects the curve of the wheel. 0 makes the wheel Vertical with no curve.

  3. Thanks Jason! The tutorial taught me a bunch! Found out how to adjust the curve on the wheels by adjusting the "CurveAmount" value. Also discovered how to add shadows to text. Makes it really pop really nice! Before: Untitled2.png After: Untitled.png Quick question. Is there anyway we can have the Wheel fade-out when not in use?

  5. Have heard good tings about WIT: Wiimms ISO Tool as well, but found it a bit too complicated (too lazy to learn how to use it lol). Don't see why not to post a link: http://wit.wiimm.de/ I ended up just compressing my wii games to gcz. Was just easier and wasn't sure if Wiimm would split large WBFS files.
  6. Something like HyperMarquee: http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/files/file/7397-hypermarquee/ That would be pretty awesome! If Jason ever decides to implement this, he may have to buy another arcade cabinet for "testing", just like LEDBlinky Wink
  7. Zombeaver said Okay cool, just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing it somewhere. I think it might be a nice option to have for people that just want one constant background for the entire platform. Having game-by-game fanart is great... if the fanart itself is great... but I think we all know that's not always the case Confused
There definitely is a way! Place your background image in Launchbox>Image>Platforms>"Select any System">Fanart. This works for me. I have a nice single image background for all games within that system.
  8. Add bezels, global pause, add individual settings/configs on pre-game basis, launcher that can be used with multiple front ends, add nice fade-in and fade-out when selecting and leaving a game. I'm sure there are more.
  9. http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/files/file/7382-steam-wheel-creator/ I know this tool is geared toward Hyperspin, but the artwork and videos it creates can be used for BigBox. Have never used it yet but have heard good things about it. Pretty much it grabs the videos from the games Steam page. Another option would be to download videos from YouTube.
  10. I know Sentai Brad raves about this, so I thought I'd post this here. I like to go to this website called Sharewareonsale.com. Every once in a while they have some good software that catches my eye that is heavily discounted or free. And today I see they have IObit Advance System Care 9 Pro: http://sharewareonsale.com/s/advanced-systemcare-pro-sale - Just click the orange "Download Advanced System Care 9 Pro" button - Then fill out the form. Shouldn't take more then 30 seconds. I recommend using just making up an email address and not using your real one. -After that you are taken to a page with a License key and download link to the software. Hope someone finds this useful!
  11. What about the HyperSpin side of things? You are not moving anything. I have a HyperSpin setup and you can do it the same way SentaiBrad described. Go to Tools > Manage Platforms > Select your System > Folders. Clear Logo should point to the wheel art (Hyperspin\media\Your system\Artwork\wheel) Box - Front should usually point to Artwork 4 if that is where you have your boxes (Hyperspin\media\Your system\Artwork\Artwork4) Cart - front should point to Artwork 3 (Hyperspin\media\Your system\Artwork\Artwork3) Videos should point to video folder in Hyperspin (Hyperspin\media\Your system\Videos)
  12. This is possible. Not in front of my setup to confirm exactly how I have it setup. In your Launchbox folder, go to Images > Platform > "Select your system". Should be a folder here called "Fanart Background" or something. Place the image here. Now within Launchbox, go to Tools > Options > Images and setup the image priority to the way you want it for backgrounds.
  13. Thanks for heads up. Sorry to hear about that. Honestly, Its always best to just go to the manufacturers website and just grab them yourself. Who knows where they get some of those drivers or if they are even correct.
