I assume you have zipped up your data folder and sent it to Jason, as he requested yesterday, right? If not, I suggest we leave it until you do.

I'm sure @Jason Carr can put in a dependency in LB that will prevent this from happening in future if Retro Achievements is down.

Nice!

I opened a ticket on this some time ago if anyone would like to vote on it:

Some good ones recently

Are you sure it's the same FBA core in your associated platforms as what you're using in RA? There are 3 options that will run Neo Geo games, each possibly supporting different rom sets.

I don't care that much about the fade in-out when loading. Just replacing the plan "Now Loading" with some background fanart would make wonders for BB's eye-candy.
My 2 cents
Yeah, Retropie does something similar to this and it's pretty cool. I'd like this in BB.

I'm talking about a pc powerful enough to run something more demanding, for a lower spec pc, sure.

It's good on something like a Pi 3, but if you are on a Windows pc I wouldn't use it.
-
Also, the PCSX_reARMed core is for ARM cpus, if you are on Windows, use the Beetle PSX core.

I guess you could edit the code for the particular theme you are using. Probably your best bet would be to check with the theme creator on their individual thread in the Big Box Custom Themes forum.
-
You can turn off the Games Details screen in the Big Box options.
Mine always skipped to the letter without a button press.

And the Dreamcast cores in RetroArch are not worth bothering with when you have Demul.

Because I use RL to view PDFs when in game, this update is not for me. However, it's good that Jason is not likely to include other RL features because why do things twice? A waste of time, I guess.
Probably because the majority of LB users don't use RL?

I have switched to this core as my default for NES emulation. Tested it out last night and found it really good. I installed the HD pack for Mega Man aswell, very cool. The core also supports achievements now.

Glad you got it working

Note that you are probably going to need syscard3.pce for PC Engine CD/Turbo CD in RetroArch. You may very well have this in your system folder but it might need to be renamed. Here you will find the md5sum of the bios file that RetroArch requires:

I'm not sure about Turbo Engine and PCEjin doesn't appear to have been worked on since 2015. Have you tried an up to date emulator like the pce_fast or supergrafx cores in RetroArch?
They are actively being worked on.

I'm interested in both of those features, it'll be great to get use out of all those pdf manuals from Emumovies and to be able to navigate them via a controller in Big Box would be sweet

Have you tried the normal Atomiswave version with Demul? Mine works. Can't you turn on blood in the settings in the Atomiswave version? This guy seems to have done it:
Here are my settings:
Here are the details for the mslug6 rom I have and my awbios:
EDIT: I replaced the files in my nvram folder with the ones he has linked in that video and blood appears now. I had to go back in to the settings to change the region back to North America and have English language, but it works like a charm.
