Just updated to version 6.10 LaunchBox and it stays stuck in populating games! Hour after hour , nothing. Everything was fine until I took the update. ANyone else have issues?

Hi, I have over 200 games in my NES folder, but want to be able to run Virtual Joystick (Vjoy.exe) before each game is launched. I know how to launch the .bat and end the .bat, but I dont want to have to add it to 200 games one by one. I dont see how I can edit the emulator to run and kill the task like I can on each individual game. The option is not there! Can someone help me run and kill the vjoy.exe task for the emulator?

ok. I guess I will just remove from the library for now until I can figure out how to map a .AHK or .bat file to trigger the escape. Found it on MAME, using that one instead for now. Thanks for the info!

AWESOME!!!!! ok, So I have a tankstick and use Vjoy with the game. If I understand correctly, can I substitute Vjoy.exe for Xpadder? How would this look for Vjoy.exe since I dont use Plex or Xpadder?

Yeap.. I see that too in the custom filters... Would be nice to be able to have it as platform thatjust poi9nts tothe same games. We could have a Trackball GAmes, SIde shooters, etc. on the main platform view.

I am a rookie when it comes to .bat files. Can you help me with setting one up? I now how to create one (cheating using an existing one), but am lost on how to create one that will do three keys at one time. Any tips or guides you can point me to? Thanks!

hi, No Problem. I could help you with DAPHNE only, because I do not use 4do to play the games. The daphne setup is a little hard to do, but lets try and see if we can help. Question for you: CAN YOU PLAY THE GAMES NOW? OR THE GAMES DO NOT WORK YET? IF YOU CAN PLAY THE GAMES, DO YOU NEED HELP WITH CONTROLS IN DAPHNE? If you need help setting up DAPHNE, please see video below. 1. Go to this video on youtube and setup your daphne the way he says says below: Once you get that running, we can do the install to Launchbox. Once you get Daphne going we can move on to setting up the controls. I am sure the rest of the guys here will help too! WOnderful people here who are always anxious to help! Hi, ANyone know how to EXIT the game from ARCANA HEARTS 3 for TATIO TYPE X? I can exit out off all the TATIO X games except this one. It also messes up my resolution with I try to takskill it. Thanks!

ohhhh. I think you are asking for instructions on how to control the game once it launches, yes? I use a AimTrak lightgun. Do you use DAPHNE SINGE to play the game?

No Problem. I sorted it out. Let's start with were you are stuck at. So, Im assuming you can play the game, yes? Do you have Crime patrol running with DAPHNE? That is how mine run. If so, I can upload the .Bat files that you will copy over to run them.

HI, Arcana Heart 3 doesn't let me escape for anything. It also messing up my resolution when I taks kill it. ANy ideas on how to escape the game and return the screen back to my original resolution? Thanks,

Hi, I know that LB offers a sort by genre and such, but can you sort by trackball, shooter, fighter, and have that available as a platform on the wheel? So, what I mean is... Can the when that shows ARCADE, DREAMCAST,etc... ALso have a TRACKBALL, PLATFORM, SHOOTER, SPORTS, CASINO, and when you click on it, have it show the respective games? My OLD HS setup had that on the wheel and would love to see that on LB. Maybe I can do it myself with what is available now? I see CUSTOM FILTERS. But is that the only way? TRACKBALL GAMES (Missle command, WOrld Bowing, etc.) SPORTS (2020 BASEBALL, 10 Yard Fight, 2 on 2 HOCKEY, NBA JAMS, RUN AND GUN) Thanks!

You may be right... But, hell.. I got my hi scores to keep on every game. I'll roll the dice and stay with this setting. Accepting the fact that my game may not have hiscore capabilities wont cut it for me... So I guess I will amend my statement above. *****USE THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK... WORKS FOR ME.!!!! Thanks! Tried that too... No Joy... =( My mane says it is from Feb 25, 2016 so it is a pretty recent one... Wish I had hi score.. DOnt want to use a different MAME because then my AIMTRAK guns stop work. ANd that took me a stretch of Weekends to finally get configured. =(

Hi, I tried looking online for a way to keep my hiscores in MAME 171UIFX32, but cant get it to hold the scores. I downloaded every hiscore.dat file I could find online, but no joy. Can anyone help me setup up my MAME to keep my hiscores? Thanks!

ok, so I figured it out. I am running vjoy.bat at the beginning, then killing Vjoy.exe using a .bat Turn off the reverse AD STICK Y and turn on the cheat of AutoFiring for the game. ENJOY! I love the fact that my friggin arcade is actually let me play, instead of spending hours configuring and never working. Cant say how much I love LaunchBox! Anyways, I and playing through my game library for the first time and came across a great game I played as a kid. FOOD FIGHT! But I cant get the tankstick or keyboard to move the lil guy around. Any idea how to get that working with the controls? Should I run xbox360? Should I use Vjoy? I would really like to just use the tankstick controls that are wired to the keyboard, but when I try to set the controls... Nada! All the other options recive my key press but not the AD STICK X or Y... The settings in MAME say AD STICK = Keyboard Thanks!!!!
