  1. Thanks for the help guys, and gals. Much appreciated
  2. Hi, I currently have a collection of Playstation One title that I would like to inport into Launchbox. The thing is, some of these title have different version numbers and can be bigger and smaller in file size. What I want to know is which one to use? I'm kinda running out of HDD space so ideally I would like to take the smaller sized version but I don't know if that's the best method. Any help would be great guys.... oh and gals of course...
  3. Think this would be an excellent idea. Automatic rom folder updates or refreshes would be such a great feature. In an ideal would you direct Launchbox to the folder and voila! All roms input and updated...
  4. Cool Jason. Think it is a very important part. Be better if you guys had your own setup that's built in but I guess Rome wasn't built in a day. Good to hear it's in the pipeline.... eventually. Not too long though Thanks for all your hard work in creating this beautiful piece of emulation software. Long may it continue...
  5. Hi guys, Apologies if this is in the wrong topic but have you guys thought about possibly including bezels/fade screens into Launchbox itself? I appreciate that using RocketLauncher allows you to accomplish this but what about having bezels from within Launchbox itself? Less is more right? I mean it must increase load having to run the emulatior, RocketLauncher and Launchbox at the same time? Why not decrease the load and let Launchbox handle the bezels. Also, less likely to go wrong with only 2 pieces of software rather than 3. Just thought I'd ask so if Brad or Jason are listening then.... Keep up the good work and really like what you're doing...
  6. @lordmonkus, cheers my main man . Just installed the dev version and all is well in Launchbox/Amiga land. Hehe... Thanks to @orac31 for sharing his wise knowledge and video.
  7. Cheers mate... I've given up for tonight as it was doing my swede in... I think I'm using the same stable build of FS-UAE as yourself. I'll go through your video again tomorrow with a clear head. You're a clever bugger to get it working... Any news on save states or game saves as you quite rightly say, some games as pointless without a save game option. Don't fancy playing championship manager without saving to be honest... Sleep well.
  8. Hi Guys, New into Launchbox town and I'm loving it at the moment. Setting up the systems I had growing up and thanks to Brad for the helpful videos as well as Simply Austin. Sterling work Brad, Jason and the rest of the Launchbox dudes, dudettes but.... you knew there was a but didn't you? Amiga, that gem of my youth is proving to be a tasking beast. I've spent 2 day now trying to get the thing to launch via launchbox. I'm using a portable version of FS-UAE and I have my games zipped in WHDload format. I have the Kickstart roms too and also watched orac31's guide to settng it up but all to no avail as when I try to launch the game in Launchbox, the FS-UAE interface pops up and I then have to load the game through the Launcher directly but not as orac31 manages to do with Launchbox, i.e. select the game and it runs. Help guys, am I missing something? I don't want to use rocketlauncher or retroarch to play the Amiga. orac31, my fine friend, you say that you do not insert any commands when setting up Launchbox, is that right? I've read other posts who have got it to work with placing " Launcher.exe –amiga-model=a1200 –fullscreen" in the command line, tried it didn't work. Should my FS-UAE setup have a configuration saved that starts it as a a1200? But then surely that's what the command line is doing? It's very late, I'm tired and it's really starting to bug me now. So, please, if you can make a vintage gamer happy then please give me a clue as what to do. Launchbox and Big Box are awesome by the way. Tried many front-ends but this really impresses me. Now, if only my beloved Amiga was on here.....
