That user hasn't been around in a long time. As long as the control loading the image is a FlowImage and UseImageCache is true (default value IS true) then it'll do this automatically.

Thank you it worked! For some reason I had the UseImageCache="False". I've changed it to "True" and it worked!

  2. Hi guys,

I need your help, I've been messing around with the files and customizing this theme because I love it.

On the view "PlatformWheel4" how can I put like a default text when there's no 'Clear Logo' image found? I know some themes have this - when you don't have the logo image, it creates a default text with the title/game name.

Right now on Pulse theme if you don't have the 'Clear logo' image, it just shows a blank space.

@thimolor can you help please? love your work!

    Thanks!

Your screenshot shows the issue. You have "Boxes" group selected, but 3D boxes still show up. This tells me one of two things are going on in your system. Either you have 3D Box images marked as a Box - Front, or you have 3D Box image in your Box Front image group. If in the image group priorities you need to remove it (you then pick 3D Boxes from that drop down menu if you want to see them in the grid like your picture shows). If the picture is incorrectly marked as Box - Front you'll want to change it to 3D box in the Edit Game window.

Thanks for the tip. Indeed I have 3D Box images; I switched from the grouping "Boxes" to "3D Boxes" on everything and it now shows everything correctly on BigBox. Thanks once again!

This isn't a bezel. It's your transparent image trying to be rendered on the new 3D model and is caused because you're using a 3D Box image type in the Box Front image group. To stop this from happening you'd want to use the 3D Box image group in your LaunchBox grid, and then the change will apply to the images in that view as well and you would no longer get the effect you are seeing.

Thanks for the tip, but my view in Launchbox grid is already as "normal" boxes. See picture.

I'm a bit confused by your steps as you say to "use the 3D Box Image group". But I don't want to use the 3D box, I want the regular default 2D Box Front. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

  5. Since the new Launchbox update to 13.0, it seems that the Default theme is applying bezels to covers.

    Some examples:
    - Playstation 1 - it creates a black round box instead of just leaving the image transparent as usual
    - Playstation 2 - it creates a black and grey jewel case bezel
    - Playstation 3 - it creates a light grey jewel case that uses your game cover to fill (doesn't look bad by the way)
    - Playstation Portable - no changes, my game images are transparent - just like I want them!

Can anyone help me to deactivate this bezel option? I want the default view where it just appears my game cover transparent without any bezels. Thanks!

  6. Hi all,

I currently use Rocketlauncher as the main launcher for all my emulators. I have it integrated with Launchbox so when I click to run a game, it uses Rocketlauncher to boot the roms. I also have Xpadder configured there with all my specific system mapping profiles.

Since the latest Launchbox release, I've noticed that when I boot a game, the corresponding Xpadder profile for that emulator is not opening up. However, if I boot a game directly using RocketlauncherUI, the Xpadder profile opens up perfectly.

Note - this was working before; only recently it stopped working.

Please see below the logs for each booting type:

Does anybody have the same problem or can help me?

    Thanks

  7. @sagaopc that was exactly like I would imagine the perfect view. @viking I believe some of us want these type of views due to the huge amount of time we've spent scrapping all the box art, logo and disc media and I am sad not being able to show it on a theme :( I know this goes against your minimalist view on this theme but pleeeease consider just creating one view with this format pleaseee. Your theme is amazing, that's why everybody wants to use it and make it personal I guess lol. Keep up the amazing work!
