The files I exctracted waere in a .dat file format.

I did that it seems to but it tries to start then it closes.. The files games I found are in rom format so not sure if that is right for running on demul.

I'm using the "demul" emulator and set ip up for dreamcast but cannot get it running for Naomi!!! is there a video that teaches me to do it or can you post the right settings for it Thanks

Does launchbox support viva nono (Namco system 22) emulator? Right now it opens the emulator when I click on the games, if I click on emulator directly it works with no issues

Does LaunchBox have an option to assign a hot key to close the emulators.. Not all of the emulators close using escape so can I use something like "alt+F4" using an assigned key like "C"? Every emulator is different so it might require a different hot key for each system. Thanks for reading this

I found platform images com CPS1, CPS2 and CPS 3 but I do not know how to name them, size to use and what folder to put!! After I will upload to the community since we do not have those 3 console images in database. Thanks for reading this..

Thanks for your replies!!! the system I'm trying to run is the msx 2 blue msx runs very well but I does not seem compatible with command line parameters.

MESS makes an attempt to open but then it closes not sure what's going on but I need help since I want to use MESS on many systems.

If the steam videos download why all I have is weblinks? if they do not link to the proper game I will link a few at a time. maybe it will be a good idea to start a database of videos from steam.. in the future maybe launchbox will be an option to search and download videos from video sharing websites and linking them directly to the game.

I've added about 10 folders to my final burn alpha rom import section but some where for console systems and a lot of them do not work so my question is where do I see all of those folders so I can delete!!! I have not found any.

Steam videos do not download to the computer instead they only link to the ur that contains the video so this means that offline I will not see game videos?

Now games are working on ps1 side but for some reason I have to link each game to an emulator.. on the game edit there is no default emulator option for all games. I'm not used to having emulator section is separate from the rom section I'm used to having the emulator and the folder for the rom in the same section. One thing that I noticed is that all of emulators are together in one page but the rom folders are not.

Corrected 1 issue Had the wrong path ,I deleted emulator so launchbox was giving me pcx2 when I clicked on game, now when I click on a game the emulator window opens (null dc) still working out stuff: Why I cannot go back and add another rom folder or the games are not imported? the only way to add new games is to choose them by files. I might be making mistakes here and there but the time I spend learning is totally worth it!!

I deleted all roms and move my folder with roms to another location now what is there opens the wrong emulator Null dc on frontend opens PCSXR emulator so the question where on the xml this can be edited? Also is there a run command I could use on null dc emulator?

Its not working for me on dreamcast.. When I looked a the xml whatever I input before is there and I cannot remove.. I do not want to reinstall everything then I would have to start over or I can just port over folder by folder?

There is a bug on launchbox where the software does not clear entries after they are deleted so I need to reinstall the original xml file but not use a editor to edit them as it might be tedious work!!! Launchbox uses an installer so I do not have access to the XML file so I can possibly just paste the new one and remove the old one. Thanks for reading this post

Thanks for your reply I'm actually have used emulators, frontends and roms before so I understand it well, the issues is not importing the rom and connecting to the right emulator the issues is that launchbox does not clear their database I even cleared the registry just in case it was something there left, I would hate to try to delete launchbox and try installing everything over again

I recently added nulldc and some roms and made a mistake leaving the .rar files on it.. when I try deleting them they still present even after I deleted from the folder.., so I went and started the process of adding roms and the emulator but not I get an error that says the rom is not found even after I already redid the whole process again.. there are some roms that open a PCXR (playstation emulator.. this does not happened when I use the emulator without the frontend Thanks for reading this post

forsure I will use.. will be a good idea if not only deletes but also have the option to move to a different folder just in case you want to revisit
