The games were added.. I added a new folder with a smaller list and it said 0 games added and platform did not show up so it seems like system detects a Super Nintendo platform but it does not appear on the platform list.

It might be a bug.. I installed "gamecube" platform and it showed up without issues so the bug is in the super Nintendo platform.

Its not showing up in the list I even tried adding a new platform As " Super Nintendo Entertainment System2" and the platform does not show up on list or add the game list I added.. If I do a search for street fighter i get a list of street fighter games and i see that the street fighter game is also there and is playable with the snes9x emulator but platforms is not present on the list

I've added the super Nintendo platform but it does not show up on the list I cannot see under the nintendos eg. Gameboy, Gameboy ad,64 etc.. I even tried to rescan roms to see if it show up but it does not.

I've reinstall launchbox and looks like is working.. I think windows security setting might be breaking the updates so I install 7.12 as a clean install, now I'm moving the most time consuming folders containing videos images manuals and all that is big which was downloaded from emumovies. I refuse to re-download months of work if there is no necessity. Hope this thread help someone with similar issues.

It does not work I scan the rom path 3 time already.. I'm suspecting is the way launchbox launches the games.. All was well on previous versions.

Yes that is done..I changed all the directories as it should.. It was also happening wit MAME but that was corrected!!! I fixed by following the tutorial for setting up mame but it did not worked for console games.

I been away for awhile and amany emulators where working correctly with my system now I moved my directories and updated to the newest launchbox 7.12 and now I get an Error that says" The rom file you specified does not exist" so I open the emulator directly and I can run the game!!! I'm not sure why this keeps happening.. any help with settings will be appreciated. Thanks

Good idea indeed but, if you have a 100 roms it would be a royal pain.. I see an improvement on filters but also a down side..newer mame uses 7z and fba uses zip files now if I imported mame roms in .7z and added roms in zip or rom files launchbox will see those as duplicates so the games I would like to play will not be imported, I know I can import everything regardless of duplication but this can lead to a big mess of games that need to same game from other regions to play in order to run!!! so an unrelated question would be can I combine games that are on a different format (.rom,.zip) but with the same name once they are all imported as .7z so then I can choose to use .zip, .rom or 7z to run the game as a default? -

How do I get it? I I guess If I want to rename 0 to 99 I have to tell software to remove 2 characters but once I get into the 100's I have to tell the software to remove 3 characters!!! The roms are not in different folder and they all have the same extension so removing by extention will not work for me.

I just found a 6,000+ Nintendo DS rom pack but I need to rename since they all have numbers in front of rom name exp. 0001-Mario, so I was thinking is there a mass file renames where I can remove those numbers in front of roms? Thanks

Final Burn alpha worked for me months now not I come back after along pause and try the new version launchbox 7.9 and I get an error from the emulator. This error only happends when I run the game on launchbox it does not happened when I run without it.. I notice the importing of games works differently where now I can combine all games with similar names into a single file, this is not good cause Arcade games encryption must have the same name from a different region for it to work!!! I also noticed games are divided into different categories I hope because of this reason sets are not been seen by the emulator.

I have a rom database and the games all have bezel so how do I remove the bezel and have the game fill the whole screen? Thanks

Yes I do I tried using the .bat file and all I got was empty folders.. I placed the bat file in my roms folder
