  1. I use Daphne to emulate LaserDisc arcade games. For the LB/BB Daphne platform, I don't have an assigned emulator and instead run a separate bath file for each game with parameters specific to that game. Everything works well EXCEPT the game window is not active/selected after the batch file exits. So I can see the video and hear the audio but my controller inputs are ignored. If I use the mouse and left-click on the windows, the window is active/selected and my controller inputs work. Is there any batch file command or AHK script that would automatically activate the Daphne window so that my mouse is not needed to get every game playing? Thanks in advance! Scott
  2. When I import multiple games, the speed is fine both for EmuMovies and Launchbox Database. It seems to affect only single game import or editing of already imported single games.
  3. Thanks Retro808 - it occurs when I am adding metadata, images, and videos to imported files that were not correctly recognized or unrecognized at import. So I am editing one game at a time, fixing the title and Launchbox ID, and then downloading media. The Launchbox Games Database/Storefront part of the media lookup and download is almost instantaneous, but it then takes a long time for the EmuMovies lookup to occur ("Querying EmuMovies..."), often up to a minute per game. The download of the Emumovies files is a bit slow too, at least compared to the Launchbox Games Database.
  4. This has become a bigger problem every release of LB. LB is now very fast downloading local and LB images and metadata, but the downloads of media from Emumovies are taking up to a minute per game just to get queued, and another minute or so to download the actual files. It absolutely kills the speed of LB and needs to be addressed.
  5. I’m sorry, but my AWFUL internet service is providing me 0.1 mbps upload speed and 1 gbps download. My upload speed is literally 10,000 slower than my download speed. Its been this way for two days, and it effectively prevents me from uploading anything, even a 3 MB screenshot. Suffice it say that, the background of LB is black. Always. White fonts on a black background, boxes and screenshots on a black background.
  6. Yes - you are correct. It is LaunchBox that I'm having the blank black background with. It is the main LaunchBox screen where the titles and boxes/screenshots/banners are displayed. BigBox looks and operates perfectly. I haven't (knowingly) changed any of the display settings in LaunchBox Thanks.
  7. The background of my LaunchBox is solid black. I have gone under Tools --> Options --> Visuals --> Backgrounds --> Defaults and have chosen a custom background image (jpeg), but the background stays black. I have toggled all of the Media --> Background Priorities OFF and it makes no difference. How can I set it up so that the background image that I choose is always the background image in LaunchBox?
  8. In my experience, the ParaLLel core is amazing and better than the Mupen core. Try them both.

    Yuzu Issues

You don’t need any additional parameters to run Yuzu from Launchbox. Check under the Tools - Manage Emulators in LB. Check your startup screen settings for Yuzu. Make sure that “Hide all windows that are not in exclusive fullscreen mode” is unchecked.
  10. Good points all - may be more difficult and less helpful than I thought. Thanks for the replies
  11. Good points. It would save those that can run these emulators, some of which don't require high-end systems (CEMU), from trying to run known incompatible titles. And, of course, over time the average emulation setup will get better and the efficiency of these emulators will improve.
  12. I'm no coder, but the compatibility pages for these emulators are regularly updated and could be polled by the LB software (when requested) to allow sorted game lists. Things like ratings and metatdata change constantly and are updated by LB. The compatibility pages do not distinguish between compatibility for nightly/canary versions and stable versions. Nothing silly about it.
