  1. That is what it was, working fine now. For others, I DID already have an API code. The only thing I can think of is since than I have added a child to my account. Or, it could just be 7+ years since I did this and they now require an authenticator for an API code. edit: the API code I have now IS different than the one I entered years ago btw. Peace all!
  2. Yea, I knew that was a dumb question, the bulk of what I was asking was, could this be what is preventing me from accessing my Steam library? Only one way to know, I will try this later, ugh. More apps and authentication to keep track of!
  3. I have double-checked to make sure my profile is public in every way, and I have entered my steamid correctly in both my Steam profile and in launchbox, still not connecting for me. When I try to re-retrieve my API (there is an old one saved in that spot currently) from Steam it says my account does not meet the requirements for a developer API key. My account requires a Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator. What is a Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator, will it help the situation I am in? Is it because I am a family account and I have a kid on my account?
  4. +1 for all this, mine just shipped! Would pay again for this on Steam Deck! I also just wanted to point out something that seemed off to me, I feel like comparing a bunch of Windows users because they have a mobile phone, which can be used for EVERYTHING under the sun, vs the people that are buying Steam Deck...which will be used exclusively for video gaming is missing the mark, perhaps, with all due respect. I hope this happens, good luck to the team whatever you do, I will look for options while my Steam Deck takes FOREVER to get here!
  5. I appreciate the response, got it working like a charm! Thanks for the tool DingoDan!!! Yup, for anyone looking for help.
  6. This part has me vexxed. Open cmd, and type 'pip install Pillow' What does this mean? My command in windows does not understand the pip command. I am confused and would love to use this tool! Thanks in advance anyone who might be able to help! I have like, three guides up now on how to install pip, different pip downloads for different versions of python, this is getting quite complicated!
  7. If you guys have all genre and series filled out for every game.....how do you get launchbox to sort it out that way, or search for a specific genre in big Box?
  8. How come the plex menu in these videos look much more like xmbc than Plex? Mine does not look that cool...tips on how to make mine look like this?
  9. +1 for a playlists logo! Thanks for these!
  10. Yea, I am STILL having problems. Somehow my SNES and NES box covers are linked for games that share the same title. Chessmaster, Championship Pool, Battletoads Double Dragon, Alien 3, Addams Family, etc etc. These are games that are in both collections and are somehow linked. I KNOW that doesn't make sense as their images are stored in different folders, BUT SOMEHOW THEY ARE LINKED. Can anyone help me with this? EDIT: In the Chessmaster SNES title I erase the NES box cover and add an image of the SNES. Somehow the NES Chessmaster title gets affected by this.
  11. When you say refresh image cache and start it over, you do not mean getting new metadata from emumovies or anything are you?
  12. hmmm, that doesn't quite explain why a few of my games that share titles NES/SNES changed.
  13. No, only a few games had changed, like 40, coincidentally ones that share a title between NES and SNES. I 'refreshed all images' and 'clean up images'. What do those two options ACTUALLY do?
  14. Recently after I scoured my entire SNES collection, I did something that allowed the metadata to be changed. The box covers to a few games that have the same name as NES games switched their covers to a NES cover in my SNES collection. How do I prevent this from happening again in the future? I don't want to go through a collection that I already have gone through. Thanks much for anyones help!
