Thanks Dave.
This should be fixed in 13.17 beta 2.
It is indeed fixed. Tested right after I updated to beta 2 yesterday, I just didn't have a chance to follow up with you guys, sorry.
Thanks for squeezing that fix in, should make a lot of people happy !

That it's problem, the game appears in Launchbox, but not in the CTC. The empty entry should be Super Castlevania IV.

Thanks for the answer, but the game appears in Launchbox and is not marked as hidden (I attached an image in my first message).
yes i saw the 1st image, but the game title was not listed in the list on the far left, just an empty selected list entry.

COMMUNITY Theme Creator uses the LaunchBox database, so if its not in there neither Launchbox or CTC will see it.
Also... if the game is hidden and by default these will not display, but go into Application settings and enable Show Hidden Games

Hi, I've been using the software since last week, it's really amazing. But since a few days I have a problem that I have not been able to solve.
When I load the game list, some games do not appear (only happens on some platforms, on others it loads correctly all the games). In the image the game should be “Super Castlevania IV”. The game does have the information in Launchbox. any help to solve this problem?
PS: I apologize for my bad English, I'm not a native speaker.COMMUNITY Theme Creator uses the LaunchBox database, so if its not in there neither Launchbox or CTC will see it.

In BigBox - Bindings not set when switching views from "Text List with Details" to another view such as "Horizontal Wheel 1" unless you make a selection
I would have pasted screen shots but its not letting me attach.
Use the default theme, select any platform, switch to "Text List with Details" then switch to another view like "Horizontal Wheel 1" and only the wheel is visible, at this point i can call up the search index but unable to switch views and the top portion of the view is empty until i scroll left/right.

Hey there. So, I have a predicament I would like to resolve. I have a Vertical cab that is Shmup based. Steam/PC shmups have a very small library of games that are compatible with Windows Portrait/vertical display mode. So, because of this, I have been trying to use Landscape mode instead, and just rotate games through the games menus. Problem is, the number of Landscape compatible Vertical themes is very slim...The only one i can find that will actually rotate BigBox through Landscape display is FauxVert made by C-Beats. It says in his notes that all images and videos should be rotated for it to work properly. Is there an easy way to rotate all game videos and images to make it work? All of the images displayed through the theme are flipped sideways, and Videos don't even display. Maybe the theme does not do videos? Thank you!
Edit: I know default theme will flip to vertical if Windows is set to Portrait/vertical, so, if there is a way to rotate the default theme to be viewed verically on a landscape/horizontal windows display setting, let me know. That will absolutely work for me.
you should probably take pics of your setup because to me its not making any sense. Rotation is typically handled via windows display settings.

Says WheelGamesView on the bottom
Didn't touch any XAML files, I just selected Publishpublish will place the theme in the Themes folder, once in big box select the theme and once you have selected a platform, hit the view key to toggle thru the game views until you land on this one, or go back to CTC and click theme settings and specify the game view you wish to go into initially, then publish

Altered the WheelsGamesView of _Theme Components in the CTC but when I install and apply the theme, the option for that view isn't there?
There is no wheelgamesview in Ctc, so how did you alter and where did you put the XAML file?

@y2guruThis is what the theme folder looks like. I deleted the view I'd made and just threw a default one in instead -- it still doesn't work.
It's also on the default view, not platform specific. I still get the same default menu that I screenshotted before, no matter what.
what's inside your "Views Folder" ?

not even close, you either have a platform specific version you keep editing and an old Default TextGamesView (or vice versa) is in play or you added a TextGamesView.XAML file to the Theme and when published it is ignoring your version.

Yes, it sends me to that view, however if you look at my screenshots, it's not giving me the layout with the options that I created, it's using some other default view. You can see it's missing the posters, and it has an extra clear logo, as well as other details. Not to mention the background is static, not a video, and it's a horizontal image -- none of which I have setup in CTC.
No, I do get the game details list, it's just not the version that I created for my theme. I checked the options and the game details screen isn't disabled in CTC (and obviously not in bigbox either since it does come up, just again not my specific theme/view).
Show me the options you created
-
Wait… are you saying that you don’t get the game details list when you click a game in bigbox? If so, then yes there is an option in bigbox plus you can enable/disable view the theme specific options in CTC

can only be done using the BigBox Legacy Wheel unless of course Christian has updated the new wheel to support the rotation above, to my knowledge that has not been done.
