Ya it is way better, do you think overclocking my CPU would improve performance quite a bit? I’ve just never overclocked anything before.

I'm trying to decide if I need to update the GPU of my mame pc, I currently have two PC's, my old one has been setup as my mame/emulator PC that I will be putting into the cabinet that I'm building, for the most part this PC is probably overkill for any emulation, but I have noticed with CHD games like NFL Blitz it drops the fps really badly once the game actually starts playing. My specs for the mame PC are this; AMD FX 8350 8 Core Processor 4.00Ghz 32 GB RAM Dual GTX 760 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 (SLI) 256 GB SSD (Programs and OS installed onto) 4TB HDD for storage This runs everything just fine, but there seem to be games like NFL Blitz that can't run without dropping fps to like 50% in game, but if I open them on my newer (very good) PC they run without a hitch, and I know that that PC is way more than overkill i7 6950X 10 Core 3.00Ghz 128GB RAM NVIDIA Titan X Pascal 12GB 256GB SSD (Programs and OS installed onto) 4TB and 8TB HDD for storage Now I know that PC running games without fps loss isn't a surprise, but the processor on my old PC should still be running everything really well, the only thing that seems like it would be significantly worse is the GPU, would upgrading to a 970 or 1050 or something likely help with games like this? I feel like this PC for the most part should be more than enough to emulate anything I could want, but would like to be able to have those games that are struggling a little start to run smoother. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I watched that video and everything is set like it's supposed to be I think. I'm running mam .203, does the version matter? I can get it to pause, but the screen doesn't come up, not sure what I'm missing.

I hadn't updated my launchbox in awhile and decided to do it today, for some reason I can't get the new pause screen feature to work, I set the key to "p" and it will pause but doesn't change to a pause screen of any sort, just pauses like it usually does within mame, and other emulators still use the "start" button as the pause. Do I need to disable to pause function within the emulators so that launchbox/big box has the only pause key and there is no interference between the emulators settings? Not really sure what the problem is. Any help would be great. Thanks!

I'm not sure if this is the place to post this or not, but I was wondering if there was a way for someone to create a plugin or script or something (I'm not really sure what it would be) in order to make trackballs function as a way to scroll through big box. I have a setup with my arcade on a raspberry pi with attract mode that I can use the trackball to scroll, but on my PC setup the trackball is only usable in games. I was just thinking it would be a cool little feature to be able to do. Thanks, Nick

I know I rocket launcher is kind of outdated and not necessary, but I'm trying to have my setup have a very consistent look. All of my systems have a bezel, except PS2, I know I could have PS2 go to 16:9 and just fill the screen and not need a bezel. But I'm able to get a bezel to work with Rocket Launcher, but I don't like the load screen rocket launcher uses. Does anyone know if it is possible to disable the rocket launcher load screen and have to Launch box one still work? Whenever I disable the "Fade In" in rocket launcher it stops using its load screen, but the launchbox one doesn't show up either. Also, the load screen I'm talking about with Launch box is the "Game Startup" screen that was recently added. If I'm able to figure out how to do this I would feel like my setup is basically perfect (at least to me). Or is there any other way to add a bezel to PCSX2? Thanks, Nick

I think I fixed it, I found a guide that have me open task manger, end explorer.exe, then restart it and restart my computer, tested opening games and it seems to have fixed the issue, wish I knew what caused it in the first place. Thanks for the help @DOS76

It is happening with all the emulators, I've tried all of them that use different ones. I even tried a different keyboard, thinking maybe I had a key that was sticking. I'm using version 9.3, this just started happening like yesterday, I'm not sure what is causing it. Nick

I'm not sure what the issue is, it just started happening the other day, every time I open a game when I close out there is a Windows Explorer window opened, if I opened multiple games there are multiple windows. Not sure what is causing this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Nick

I love this theme, but I have a couple little things I was wondering how to change. First is it possible to change the platforms wheel so it doesn't fade completely away and doesn't fade off so quickly? Also, is it possible to disable the time and date that shows in the top right corner? Other than those very minor things, this is by far my favorite theme. Thanks, Nick

I'm trying to find some cool platform specific loading screen images. I haven't been having much luck finding them. Any help finding some would be great!

Is it possible to have each platform have more than one platform video? Like so that it has a playlist to pick from for each so that when you scroll between consoles/platforms it wont always play the same video?

I was curious how you put custom videos when your on selected platforms, I've seen videos where when people are on different consoles it plays a video animation of that consoles logo and stuff like that, if that makes any sense. I'm new to launch box and am trying to learn these customization things. Any help would be greatly appreciated. nick

@Grila was curious how to get all the cool videos that play when you are ok the specific console, love the way it looks in the demo video.

I've never setup Launchbox or anything like it before, or Retroarch or Mame. I'm not really sure how to set them up together to make everything work. I thought I understood because I got N64 to work with the Project64 emulator with Launchbox, but Mame and Retroarch seems to have more to it in order to make the games play from the Launchbox. Any help would be greatly appreciated, or if there is a way to download a preconfigured launch box that would be really helpful too. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
