  1. I mean I have released the converter initialy for eXoDOS and this was years ago, this is compatible with several retrograming distributions and even MiSTeR and I think it happened only once that people asked eXo for support with the converter while I've had dozens of support questions through issues on github about it, so I guess users managed to find their way. I the end I might not be able to make all games work or work properly, but at least I can try to support the most and I'm willing to learn enough to make it work and I never said "Just use this and it will work" ... One thing I forgot to mention is that converter only support the Games portion of the collection though
  2. @Zombeaver As said in the README, the integration is preliminary, and obviously there's still a lot to work on. I didn't know about anything about the boot thing for instance, so I I'll have to handle that better, both for m3u and cmd usage There's only one example for the whole collection where this is done inside m3u The cmd seems directly launched by retroarch-vice ? EDIT: it works with removing the " and putting that into an m3u, so I will do that For the 2 games with missing disks in the m3u, I certainly didn't put them there myself, so at one part or another they were here for me and likely for a lot of users (I downloaded the collection in last August or July I think) Manual swapping is supported through m3us on several emulators without issues. I also mentioned that custom mapping part is not done, and I intend to get there too, just have to convert the format of the tool you use and find where the files are. In the end if this doesn't work, there are other custom mapping system which can be used anyway. Same thing for the SID music which I don't even know what it is and how it's used. In the end, some things will not be convertible, and I'm ok with that. Anyway, I'm not saying the converter is perfect, nor do I ask you to support it in both sense of the word. If something does not work, users will create issues on my github and I will try to analyse the issue and that's it, it's not on you.
  3. Hello ExoConverter now supports C64 Dreams, which will allow you to convert this fabulous collection to most of EmulationStation based retrogaming distribution (retropie, recalbox, batocera, retrobat) https://github.com/Voljega/ExoDOSConverter/releases/tag/0.9.5-beta While working on the converter I found some small issues: https://github.com/Voljega/ExoDOSConverter/wiki/Known-Issues:-C64-Dreams

    eXoDOS v4

Didn't have time yet (I just discovered today it was released) to download the collection and won't have for a while, nor the needed space on my hard drive, but I just want to thank you eXo and all the people who participated to this amazing release !
  5. Yep, maybe, but also maybe not so easy So I finally made if works, it just turns out that Dosbox is really picky regarding its parameters, its behaviour is completly different depending on device and even video card, I do not have the same behaviour with my Rapsberry Pi, my Windows 7 computer and it is even different on my Windows 7 Computer when I connect an external screen (just duplicating desktop) I can't make the game using .img for windows3.1 partition and boot command because it requires Dosbox SVN though and doesn't work with regular Dosbox 0.74 (on my PI, boot command just crashes Dosbox), guess I'll have to leave that aside for now. And I was going to ask if you were still working on the update of the DOS Action collection and saw that it was already released on PD, life is good ! Thank you for releasing all these gems for our enjoyment
  6. Hello eXo, It's strange because I even reinstalled Win3x collection from scratch yesterday, choosing Full Screen for all game and activating aspect ratio, and Minesweeper indeed launches in windowed mode ? And FullScreen is set to false in dosbox.conf for the game just after installation ? I'm in Windows 7 with a 1080p resolution for my desktop. Anyway, I managed to make it work, I had to activate fulldouble to true to be able to have an image in fulllscreen (otherwise it is not possible), but the game would still be reduced to a small square inside the screen, I had to force resolution to 640x480 to have true full screen in 4/3, bigger resolution are not posssible it seem. It's pretty good, except the mouse is a bit strange, somehow it seems there is delay between my movement and sometimes the mouse get 'stuck' on the screen before disappearing and reapparing where it's supposed to be. And it doesn't happen in windowed mode... Anyway, it's still very usable, just a bit annoying Also was the Yoda Stories game only released in W95 ? I thought it was on win3.1 like the Indiana Jones one.
  7. Hello eXo, I just have a little question related to you Win3.1 collection, as I'm mainly using your DOS collection on Raspberry Pi (after an automatic conversion I wrote), I would like to the same with ExoWin31 The main issue is that one the Pi DOSbox is only working fine when launching the game fullscreen (otherwise there is no image or the ratio is awfull or it crashes), so I have to use the following parameters in dosbox.conf : [sdl] fullscreen=true fulldouble=false fullresolution=desktop windowresolution=original output=texture renderer = auto vsync=false autolock=true sensitivity=100 waitonerror=true priority=higher, normal mapperfile=mapper.map usescancodes=true And I could'nt find any working parameters in the dosbox.conf to launch Minesweeper for instance in fullscreen, even on Windows I can't launch any 'purely win 3.1' games fullscreen (that is games using win3.1 windows and such, but for games like Dark Seed 2 it works) For minesweeper on windows it seems to work in windowed mode with the following parameters : [sdl] fullscreen=false fulldouble=false fullresolution=original windowresolution=original output=overlay renderer=auto vsync=false autolock=true sensitivity=100 waitonerror=true priority=higher, normal mapperfile=mapper-0.74.map usescancodes=true but whatever how I modified these parameters, even using the one I put a few lines above, there is no way to get the game in fullscreen, the best I achieved on windows is a black fullscreen with no image (I can escape with ctrl+F9) Do you have any idea how to get that working in full screen ?
  8. Those 3.11 collection will be downloadables as complete things ? or it is only update to the previous ones ? also are they the last ones or will there be new ? what about 'what's new' in readme.txt ? is is related to 2.0 still or only to prebious version of 3 (3.0 or 3.1) ?
  9. It's not the first private tracker I use, far from it I'm just saying the UI is confusing (not the ratio/shitlist/redeeming thing) : for instance, removing unfree torrents from the search while showing them in your account if you downloaded them is very confusing. Also the upload rates are really erratic and the tracker has much more difficulties than others I've known, like retrieving your port when you're on a VPN. And for instance I have one of your torrent and one other free one and there quite the same in terms of seeder/leechers numbers and yours never uploaded anything in three days while the other uploaded several gigas Well maybe it's noe the right forum for talking about that ;))
  10. Well hmmm ok ? I must say this tracker is reaaaaaally confusing. and not working well at all.
  11. It seems that all your torrents have been removed from PD ?
  12. OK I will do that in the future because I need to decompress the zip and I don't have hard drive space at the moment
  13. Ah ok didn't get that about non-english games. I suppose that given what was said on the ten previous pages, I can say that you can find Judge Dredd Pinball on the french site Abandonware-france, if I misunderstood Mr Modo, please censor my message "due to the way I shifted adding games I couldn't simply check zip file dates like I usually do" Besides the date, did the zip CRC32 or MD5 changed even for games which have not been updated ? because I still have the full zip of 2.0 do I could easily write a python script to do a quick comparison once I get my hands on the new one, IF the names of zip haven't changed at all. So leaving aside updated / corrected games, there is also no list of added games which weren't in 2.0 ?
  14. Hello everyone, pardon the intrusion, I'm not really using Launchbox but this place seems to be best one to follow the latest news @eXo is posting about his awesome work. It's a bit of a coincidence but a few months back I wrote a converter to make ExoDos collection games usable on the Recalbox distribution, but only on a selection I did beforehand (removing games I was not interested in, I kept something as roughly 1800 games). So I wouldn't want to have to re-sort the games by hand and redo the conversion and just wanted to know if version 3 (I have no way of downloading it for now) includes a changelog of all added and/or modified (corrected ?) games compared to version 2.0 ? Maybe in the readme or something ? By th way, @eXo, I noticed two commercial games missing from your collection which were released as DOS games : Judge Dredd Pinball and Hurlements (a 1988 french adventure game by Ubisoft using the same game engine as their Zombi from the same period)
