Tanhk you again for this great project. Cheers
Jason Carr
Hi nmc, Make sure your Dolphin emulator settings look like this: Specifically, the Command-Line Parameters need the /e. (Note the extra character in that box is just the cursor.) Let me know if you're still having trouble. Thanks, Jason
nmc
Thanks, works like a charm. Keep up the good work.
KeenanW
I have a similar issue with the PCSXr emulator. It just launches the program without loading the game. Would you happen to know any launch commands for it?
Jason Carr
It looks like putting "-nogui -cdfile" into the command line parameters (without the quotes) does the trick.
Jason Carr
I think maybe I need to come up with a list of popular emulators and pre-populate these settings. Obviously most users aren't likely going to know how to configure them all properly. I'll add that to my list.
KeenanW
That did it! Thank you.

Jason Carr
Dude, that is amazing. Thanks a ton for that. Seriously. I guess you must have compiled that yourself?
Jason Carr
Yes, we should make a sticky thread for it for sure, but I think the best approach would be to automatically fill things out based on what emulator it is in LaunchBox. Also, one thing to note, LaunchBox currently always runs the commands so the rom file name is always last. I think that should work for all of those anyways (just have to reorder the parameters), but we should definitely update the parameters there. Thanks again, bd. I'll figure out some way to get it posted (might just make a blog post about it too).
bd00
No No, I did not compile that list, it is one I have saved to reference when needed. I can't remember where I got it from, it was a while ago. I will however create a new list, specific to LaunchBox if you want me to? You will just need to let me know what content you want.
Jason Carr
That'd be great, bd, absolutely. I think the grid you have is perfect except we can remove anything that's not emulation (like BATCH and Windows Media Player). And then of course we just need to restructure the Command Line to put the file names on the end, and there's no need for the %file because LaunchBox automatically puts it at the end. I don't have an immediate need for the file extension, but we might as well keep it as I can see it being useful. Thank you! Feel free to make a new forum post with it; I can then make it sticky and put up a blog post about it.
bd00
Yes no problem, happy to help. I cannot do it right now, very busy, but I should have some time over the weekend to get it sorted. Is there any emulators that you (or anyone else) want adding?
Jason Carr
Thanks bd. It looks like everything that I would want on the list is covered.

bd00
Ok, below is the link, take a look and let me know of any changes then when you are happy I will make the post. Link
Deathbringer122
I should wait until the actual sticky is created, but I'm going to ask anyway... I understand the command lines help set up the emulator program as it starts, but I'm confused about them... For instance, the games I have that use Kega Fusion, they functioned fine without the use of the command line. I understand the "-fullscreen" function does what it says...but what about "-auto"? I take it the "-gen" and "-32x" specify the system...but I am able to boot them fine without these modifiers. And I noticed adding -fullscreen made the program quit when I tried to drop out of fullscreen. I have that issue with ePSXe as well... I'll look into the help files when I have a moment, but I figured I'd ask the gurus...I'm rather new to emulation and my skills with computers branch into the artistic, not programming. Thanks! bd00
Hi Deathbringer122, Kega Fusion will attempt to detect the console type automatically, however this is not always possible. In cases where it fails to do so, you can use those commands to specify it manually. The -auto option is the region or country command, auto it will detect the region automatically. If auto fails, you can specify the region with -usa -eu -jap (the default region is the last one used) Yes, using -fullscreen will make the escape key exit the emulator. Deathbringer122
Ahhhh, alright... I gotcha. Thank you, that clears up my confusion
Jason Carr
Thanks bd! That looks great. The only thing I would suggest, just to make it a tad bit easier to understand, is to copy the system column down to the next item when it's repeated (I couldn't figure out why there were entries without a system at first). But other than that it's perfect! Go ahead and make the post; I'll sticky it and put up a blog post. Thanks again.
