My latest Windows 10 Upgrade (mostly Screen-Shots)

This story is some weeks old now, but I was unable to activate my copy of Windows 10. I had purchased my copy of Windows 8.1 from Discount Mountain Software out of Denver, CO. As it turned out, this happened: Discount Mountain Software, Matt Lockwood, Fraud, sued by Microsoft (What the company was apparently doing, was to take Product Keys off old computers and resell them, etc.). Crap, guess I shoulda researched the company more, although in their early days, they were considered reputable. Anyway, since my Win8.1 Key was apparently 'illegal', I was unable to activate my upgraded-to copy of Windows 10. Frown After some research, it seemed my only legal option was to purchase another copy of Windows and use that Key. Really? Crap! I had already purchased a copy (unfortunately, a thief got the money, damn it!) so naturally, I didn't want to buy another one. However, my only 'not buying another copy' option was to use one of those 'Key Generators', which I did. I figure after a year, I'll have to purchase a new copy anyway, but for now, I guess I'm stealing from Microsoft, technically. Frown I generally try to avoid stealing. Wink What do you think? I'm sure you have given Microsoft plenty of money over the years plus when you bought Windows 8 was it on a PC you built or one you already had running Windows 7 if so you could have used the Windows 7 COA. Since MS is suing the company they should honor the codes of the people who didn't realize that they were defrauding the company.
