Functional NES Controller Coffee Tables (and a Mystery Console!)

They can both be used as actual controllers (the 2nd one with the glass removed)! I wish the wooden one had more robust legs, though. In the first picture, what are they plugged into? Is it a UK or Japanese NES (Famicon), or what? Functional-NES-Controller-Coffee-Table-1.jpgFunctional-NES-Controller-Coffee-Table-2.jpg

Actually it's a toploader official NES console. They're treasured more than the traditional NES consoles these days because the toploading mechanism reduces/eliminates the issues with the carts not working (cart-blowing issues). And that's awesome. Imagine trying to play Mario (or any game for that matter) with a friend, and not being able to jump when *you* wanted to jump. Lol. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nintendo_Entertainment_System_(Model_NES-101)

Jason Carr said Me neither till I started watching way too many Retroware / Game Sack / Game Chasers / Flea Market Madness videos on YouTube. I've been ruined.
Yah, but think of the cool museum you'll have after you buy all this stuff! Laugh

Yeah that is it. Right after I got it I got into emulators and lent it to someone only to never get it back Wish I still had this I would get EverDrive's for both consoles

I really wish I could be content with one of those Retron 5s. Thing is, the emulation on them is far from perfect, so it's no better (probably worse) than playing the games with an emulator on your PC, I can't justify it. I need all the old consoles though, haven't yet found one that isn't too highly priced.
