bjwest Posted October 2, 2015 Author Posted October 2, 2015 I am not sure how you can mention someone in a comment where it looks like this: @username Cheers Quote
Jason Carr Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Yeah, though I have yet to figure out how to properly mention someone who has a space in their name. Doh. Quote
mathflair Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 @Jason Carr Doesn't it just work if you type the space? When I have done that in the past it seems to capture your whole name. Edited: I guess that does tag you, but shows the Carr portion twice. @Jason Quote
Jason Carr Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Yeah, but for some reason it stupidly comes up as Jason Carr Carr. Lol. I should probably report that to the devs. Quote
mathflair Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Your definitely right that it is a bug. If I use "_at_Jason" I don't get a reference to you. If I use "_at_Jason Carr", I get a reference to you with the extra carr. And if I use "_at_Jason Carr" somewhere in my post, then use "_at_Jason" in that same post, both will reference you, but the "_at_Jason" will become "_at_Jason Carr Carr" and the "_at_Jason Carr" will become "_at_Jason Carr Carr Carr". Example: @Jason @Jason Carr Quote
nathanddrews Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 Don't these forums sometimes interpret spaces as underscores or vice versa? @Jason_Carr EDIT: Nope, guess not. Sorry for the necro-thread. Quote
