TONBOX777
Hello, I have some questions about using Xpadder. Here are some examples of situations : 1) I want to launch "Game A" and force Xpadder automatic run with the profile for this game, let's say it was "Profile1" and then I quit the game and I want Xpadder with "Profile1" automatic quit by itself too(not just hiding in tray) 2) After that, I want to launch "Game B" and force xpadder automatic run again but this time with "Profile2" instead (I manage to pair up "Game B" with "Profile2") and make Xpadder quit soon as I quit the game. My question, How to manage Xpadder work like that? step by step would be nice, Thank you very much. ps. sorry for my poor English, I tried my best :P
spycat
Hi TONBOX777 You can do this using the LaunchBox Additional Apps feature. You'll need to setup 2 Additional Apps for each game. One to run the game's XPadder profile before the game starts, and another to close XPadder after the game is quit. The attached images are examples, your paths etc will be different. Application Name box You can put what you want in here as it's only a description. Application Path box This points to your copy of the Xpadder.exe file Application Command-Line Parameters box (1st app) To run XPadder this points to the filepath of the game's profile file (relative to your Xpadder.exe folder). In my example the profile file is called Quake2 The /M switch minimises XPadder to your tray. Application Command-Line Parameters box (2nd app) To stop XPadder the /C switch is used. By the way, when using parameters XPadder doesn't like spaces in the path to the game profile file or in the filename itself. If you have any spaces in your path to a game profile file, or in the filename itself, you may need to add quotes. But don't include the /M switch in them!

DR9
This there a global way to do this, having to enter this for 7000 games is a huge inefficient time sink. I need to have all games say in MAME use a xpadder profile that makes me hold start button then pressing select is the ESC key to exit. DOS76
Are you aware that you can just set both of those buttons to close MAME in the program itself if you go open a game in MAME then tab and go to Input general and then UI go to exit or cancel I don't recall which then hit enter and hit both select and start and that will be your new way to close MAME you can then set another combo to enter the tab menu and then you can configure MAME with your controller also I use left thumb and start to enter the tab menu.
