Drybonz
If you have a ton of files that you have individually edited through gamesDB because the file names of the roms were not recognized you know that it takes some time... and if you lose or have to re-import these and they are again not recognized by gamesDB then you have to do them all over again. It can be frustrating. One solution I can think of is to have a file renamer function in LaunchBox. Meaning that after you set them up in Launchbox it could bulk rename your rom files after the naming convention of gamesDB... so that gamesDB would always recognize them. DOS76
It takes forever that why when I do actually edit the games one by one I also browse to the location and change the name to whatever TGBD list as the name this way when I add LaunchBox to another machine then I won't have to change them the next time around.. One of the things that sucks is that most of the time it will be that my ROM is named correctly but the users who added the game to the database where lazy and left things from the title out one of the greatest examples is Disney games which will be named Disney's something or other or Disney-Pixar present and the just add the title so mostly it is wrong user data that is causing the issues. The re-namer is a good idea you should add it to the BitBucket page.
CADScott
There is already an item on Bitbucket for a renaming option, please go and vote for the existing one, as the more votes it gets, the more likely it is to be implemented. Here is the request: https://bitbucket.org/jasondavidcarr/launchbox/issues/296/image-data-named-same-as-roms-or-rename
