Dreamwarrior77
Just wondering if it was currently possible to save game images, videos etc to another hard drive other than the main drive? I do not have enough space on my main drive for these and in need of a work around.. Thank You
CriticalCid
Hi Dreamwarrior, you can change the paths of the media folders under: Tools –> Manage Platforms -> Edit the Platform you want -> Folders Of course you can use any hard drive you want for this.
Dreamwarrior77
Ok but I would like to change them all at once, there is no easy way to do this?
DOS76
Move your whole LB install over to the data drive that should work you may have to use notepad++ to change some paths but that depends upon how you have it set up.
Dreamwarrior77
Wow ok I would rather not mess with the installation I am too afraid too mess things up.. could I just uninstall/reinstall Launch Box on my data drive? Then it would not put the folders on my main drive or will it do this anyways? It defaulted the data folders to C:\Users\myusername\LaunchBox It would be nice if I could install Launchbox on my main drive but have it set the data path to my other drive.. CriticalCid
LaunchBox was designed to be completely portable and it always standardly stores all data like the images in its own folder. So it should just work when you move your complete folder to another drive.
