Hi,

I currently have a collection of Playstation One title that I would like to inport into Launchbox. The thing is, some of these title have different version numbers and can be bigger and smaller in file size. What I want to know is which one to use? I'm kinda running out of HDD space so ideally I would like to take the smaller sized version but I don't know if that's the best method. Any help would be great guys.... oh and gals of course...

Generally with one's like that the newer version is the better one. Since there was no online updating at that time, if bugs or whatever were found after a game was released the company would generally fix them if need be and it would then become the new version sold in the store(even though it wouldn't mention anything like that).  Some people are purists and some groups strive to archive every game and every version available.

yep this.

as far as my memory goes Rev i used on older systems.

but psx & newer systems maybe some older dont remember has (v1.0) (v1.1) & such.

i would love to know if there is any documentation on the web, that tells the differences.  personally i always keep the last version in my launchbox set and keeps the rest backed up in case i learn and older version was the best one...
