NeoID
After playing around with BigBox for a while I'm generally very happy with it. Good work! I particularly like the search and "letter"-navigation, but there are also some other things that I think are bothersome. I want my front-end to be as "closed down" as possible so users can't get out of the font-end or change critical settings. That's what I think is better with HyperSpin or RetroFe.. the fact that they split the config from the front-end so you can't exit it easily using only the joystick. So I have a couple of questions: 1) I don't like that there are two buttons used for "select" and "play". The "detailed" page for a game doesn't make much sense for me as most links like "Open folder", "Open manual", "Launch RocketLauncher/Emulator" and such kicks the user out of the front-end and into a application that doesn't necessarily support joysticks. I like "mark as broken" and "favorites" though... Is there any way to skip this page and play the selected game directly by pressing the "select"-button or remove the menu items I don't want? 2) While not as "critical" as the first, I would love to be able to hide the "settings" page from the end-user. Is there a way to let users navigate back and forth in the menu without being able to access this page? I don't want the user to be able to press "Back" once more when they are on the platform page. DOS76
There is a setting to turn off the games details in the options under general just check that and then you will never see the game details again.

Oh, I didn't notice that setting. Thanks a lot!
Jason Carr
Hi Neo, both of these options you've requested are available. Simply "Lock" Big Box with a pin to prevent access to Settings.
