Retroarch autoconfig file for usb xbox 360?

I read that the autoconfig files should pickup my usb xbox 360 controllers so they are ready out of box, but I always have to configure them manually with bind all before they will work in a new RA install.

So I looked inside the autoconfig folder and I don't see any with xbox 360 in the name. I do see xbox one. Is this why I have to config them manually?

Is there an autoconfig file for this controller?

It should be in the \autoconfig\xinput\ folder, probably the XInput_Controller_User_1.cfg

Not sure why you would have to manually configure your controllers though, mine have always auto configured.

That's odd, they do automatically config. 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4. For the most part I think it's based on the drivers. The only thing you might have to do is select the controller in the input 1 menu.
