SentaiBrad
I'm sure you can. The tutorial will help walk you through it if you need more help. However, if Nestopia standalone is working and you don't think you need RA, then stick with whats working for now. We just all like RA because we think it's one of the better emulators out there, but by no means do you have to listen us.
cleverest
I want Retroarch working with it, but it won't...followed the tutorial, still not working, so I guess I have to give up on this for now.
Lordmonkus
Did you try the FCEUMM core ? There is very little difference in the 2 cores in terms of compatibility.
Lordmonkus
Ok I did a quick and dirty tutorial, I hope it helps out.
cleverest
I really appreciate you taking the time....it will certainly help a lot of people...sadly I've done this entire thing to the T and it's still not working; got it working in the FCEUMM emulator you suggested, but somehow it's not working anymore in RetoArch, just like the other one (Nestopia) is not....Gonna restart my computer, maybe it's something else preventing it from launching... Lordmonkus
The only thing I can think of off the top of my head now is there is something messed up in the core config file like a bad video driver selected or some other setting that Retroarch is not agreeing with. cleverest
I feel stupid, I figured out what was....in associated platforms, I had the CORE listed as whatever.dlll (and was changing only the name part before the extension) but it should have been .dll (one too many L's!!!) - AAAARGH
Lordmonkus
Don't feel bad, I was messing with my TV PC a couple of days ago and couldn't get my TurboGrafx and CD working. I forgot to add the .dll to the command parameter
