ResidentEvul13 Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 i can only assume this is happening because i relocated my entire LB folder but never tested the roms aftrwards cause lb opens just fine. this same error is now on bigbox as well. i hope its a simple fixed vs me having to redo all my emus and roms again... DOS76 Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 okay I'm guessing that you didn't move your games into LB so they are using hard paths you will have to use NotePad++ to edit each platforms xml. Use the find and replace function to switch paths. 1 Quote

SentaiBrad Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 As long as LaunchBox, the games and the roms are on the same drive, it will use relative paths and so you can move all of them to a new drive if you need to. If you move one thing, you have to move them all though. Notepad++ will fix the problem fast if you're comfortable editing the XML's. You'll be using Ctrl + F, then the find and replace function to find the old path and replace it with the new path. If you didn't move your emulators, then you're good, but you can edit those easily if you did in LB. 1 Quote

If you didn't move your emulators, then you're good, but you can edit those easily if you did in LB. no my emus and roms stayed still i only relocated lb entire folder from user to local c... im editing xml in np++ now thanks mass for everything you guys do... maybe i'll get smart enough to join forces with you all one day... cause of this discovery ive gotten with my old xbox modding crew to revamp everything we created 16 years ago...
