alexeon
I am trying to make a single platform called Capcom Arcade that has CPS I, II and III games in it but they use different cores in retroarch. As far as i can tell you can only assign 1 core to a platform unless I am missing something
SentaiBrad
You can technically pass the default command line to them, but you'd have to edit each game individually and not have the command line be passed at the emulator level. So technically, yes, but a pain in the butt.
alexeon
hmm in that case is there a single retroarch core that can handle all 3 of those? I am trying to use final burn alpha but they seem to have a separate core for cps1 and cps
SentaiBrad
just use regular FBA or MAME. The arcade cores in RA work, but they're a bit more complicated and not the best. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL6pTDaHeAz-WMcNURVPU-1xLN_TVpT3FB
DOS76
You can also add the same RetroArch.exe 3 separate times to LB. You will have to use a different name the 2nd and 3rd time and put in the proper commandline for each one. Basically like Brad said uisng MAME or FBA would be easiest but this is an option too. alexeon
for some reason "fbalpha_libretro.dll" wasn't working on any CPS2 games but "fbalpha2012_libretro.dll" seems to be doing the job. I prefer using retroarch whenever possible just because of the fact that the controller is already setup in retroarch and retroarch seems to have a lot more shader options than the standalone emulators
SentaiBrad
MAME will automatically set up your controller and has quite a few shader options as well, more than they did several months ago even. So if you haven't checked it out in a while, it might be well worth it at this point.
