Hi guys, greet from indonesia. Anyway am new here, and i really want to know, how to add video manually at big box game selection, i saw many custom theme at youtube, that a short video about a game that we gonna play will show up, ive been try to add my snes game, ive been downloaded all the metadata, and when i launch a big box app, when at game selection menu, the video wont appear, it just a bunch of art work, wallpaper, and some screenshot of the game itself. Any one know how to make it appear? am ussing custom theme metallic, the platform video appear works fine, but game selection no, its just art work etc, and some times a games soundtrack. Ive been read a couple thread on forum, that we need to have premium member at emumovies so the launchbox can download video file, is that true?

Thanks

HI, yes you need a emumovies subscription to download game videos in launchbox. You can also setup a free emumovies account at the website and download the videos manually, although that way you are limited to 1.5GB of downloads per day. Hope that helps.

Bros, i want to ask again, ive been successfully add the video, the video works fine, at big box the video looks good, but now ive got new problem. Ive been try to change platform logo at big box, i use clear image for platform logo, i just want to make a sure that the path to change the logo is correctly. "D:\LaunchBox\Themes\Metallic\Images\Platforms\Clear Logo" is it correct? ive been follow read me files, i put the logo file on that location, after i launch the big box, it doesnt appear correctly, ive read that i must refresh cache for platform wheel, ive been do that, but the result still same. Sometimes its works but after that i try to launch the big box again, it revert to old one. And sometimes it wont change all logo, just a few. Please let me now if do a mistake.

Thanks again.

Hi again, good to hear that you have videos all working now. :) Yes that is the correct location to place platform clearlogos, for that theme only though. If you want to use those clear logos on other themes as well you will have to copy them to the new theme as well. Yes that all seems correct though, they are in the correct location, you must also make sure they are named "EXACTLY" the same as your platforms, case sensitive as well. then you go to bigbox options/imagecache/refresh platform wheels and that should work. Hope that helps.

It should just prompt you to download it when you start the program if you are on the stable version if you are on the last few betas it should download the update in the background and then prompt you once it has finished downloading and offer you to restart now or have it install the latest version next time you restart the program.

You know you've been part of the emulation scene for a long time when you see 3 ninjas in a screenshot and immediately know it's a SNES folder. Yes, I know the movie comes from that era of gaming... You have to have been part of that era and or the emu screen to know it though. Lol
