how to add new categories?

how to add new categories? (i.e. console, handheld, foreign handhelds etc)

The easiest way is to select Platform Category from the drop down menu at the top left of the platforms list and then click the + sign just to  the right of it.You can also right click in the list and the select Add which will open a window where you can add a new category.

No problem.

It's one of those features that are accessed in a way that wasn't really ever used before in anything else in LB so it's a new way of thinking to do something.

Is it possible to move existing plataforms for a new created categorie ?

(in launchbox)right click the system/platform and select edit 

down at the bottom is a category option
