What to do when new MAME? (and already have all of it)

OK so new MAME came out (as it was last Wednesday of the month), I have it updated fully... What is the proper process to follow in LaunchBox to update the LB library (ROMs and metadata)?

There is none really LB uses info from MAME 0.174 or 0.175 currently so short of looking up all the games added in the last 10 or 11 builds and manually adding them there isn't much more to do until this is updated in the program.

So the only benefit really are changes like port audio etc. in MAME as opposed to new games being imported if they are added to the working list?

Yep the only benefit of changing is access to new features within the emulator itself it won't help you get new ROMs added to your library through LB.
