corypedia Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Hey all, new here and had a quick question. During the ROM import process, we have the option of downloading images/videos for our games. What I'm wondering is, what is the minimum number of items I can select to properly display the game in the LaunchBox and BigBox UI? I'm all for having it look nice with the box art, videos, etc. but I don't need any of the extra stuff, as I'm not really interested in browsing game screenshots/fanart. Any hints as to what needs to be selected to achieve this is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Lordmonkus Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 For simple themes like the default, Fundamental and Switch which are all pretty minimal all you really wanna download is the box art and screen shots. Videos if you want them and the same with clear logos.

Lordmonkus Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Probably the easiest way to get rid of what you don't want is to simply go into the \images folder of Launchbox and either delete the whole platform folder or go one step deeper into the actual platform itself and delete the folders for the media you don't want. You could then use the Download Metadata and Media tool in the tools menu and just select what you want from that and uncheck what you don't want.
