.NET Framework 4.7 is not supported on this operating system

When trying to install Launchbox on my new Windows installation I get the error ".NET Framework 4.7 is not supported on this operating system" and I'm unable to continue the installation.

I'm running Windows 10 Pro and I'm fully updated, so I really want to go on a rant about how much Windows sucks right now.

Some random internet post said it was because the latest Windows 10 already includes .NET 4.7 but that sounds like a stretch to me. I do have Visual Studio installed which apparently does things with .NET Framework so yeah. Please help me, I would love to use Launchbox again.

I suggest you read through this thread

hit win+r and in the run box type winver if your version isn't 1703 or 1709 then it won't support 4.7

small correction if you are on Windows 10 15.11 or previous version then .net 4.7 won't install.

Thanks a lot Seems i was running 1511, so trying to update now. Weird, I though the idea of Windows 10 that there's only one Windows 10

There is only one Windows 10 but it requires you to keep updating your PC.

It works though, and it also fixed the problems I've been having with other programs so I can't thank you enough

There is only one Windows 10, but like every other OS in history you need to stay updated and current with it.
