I backed up my old Launchbox folder onto a new PC and get the following error when loading a game. I've changed the default path for the emulators, is there a system wide path change I need to change somewhere?

are you running the program as an admin?

Yes I'm running as admin.  The E: drive was the install directory on the old PC, I'm wondering where to change the global path setting as I can't see it in settings anywhere.

It is not recommended to run the program as admin. Its been know to cause permission issues .

you'll probably need to do find/replace in some xml files like in Data\Platforms.xml and possibly other xml files depending on the paths in there if you are not on an E drive anymore.

Have done a find/replace in Platforms.xml. Am thinking about reinstalling Launchbox and copying content over as there seems to be no way to configure global path settings.
